It begs the question, are men that beat women cowards or just bullies? I never think its ok to beat a woman (barring some life and death circumstance) although some women may honestly deserve it. As far as woman beaters being cowards, I dont know. It depends on the situation. Sometimes women spit in your face, punching in the head, kick you in the balls, and expect you take it. Like you’re a punching bag. Mike Tyson did no wrong in my book. Robin Givens got her money and ran.

One of my friends saw a bird getting slapped about by her bloke in town he went to break it up and ended getting into a fight with the bloke, layed him out once he turned his back…he was stabbed 18 times to the head.
Hes now blind in one eye and partially sighted in the other, I cant make my mind up whether i would get involved does that make me a coward?especially with knife crime through the roof in the uk???
But I know somone else that delt with it differently in a later situation when a lady hit him he took her hand bag and through it over a massive wall into private land,it was irretrievable he felt much better.
I don’t know if they are cowards or whatever, but they are definitely pieces of shit. Mike Tyson grew up in a terrible home environment where this sort of behavior was probably ‘ok’. Doesn’t excuse it, but just saying.

There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity.
You don’t know what the situation is (she might deserve - she might not) and you don’t know who you are dealing with.
If a man is willing to beat the shit out of a woman IN PUBLIC, then chances are he’s got a few screws loose. Unless you’re a fighting God (which you aren’t), you are going to get royally fucked up.
You can try to break up the fight and call the cops, but getting directly involved won’t solve anything.

Ironic that I came across this, because I just started training at a domestic violence/battered women’s shelter and have been bombarded by more information then one person could/should handle. Statistically speaking 95% of brutal violence against women are intimate partner violence, most leading to homicide and most are those of men perpetrators against women. Its a horrible cycle for anyone involved, the abuser and the victim. It has been supported that without intervention that an abuser can continue the same cycle with another victim, that could be anyone… your friend, your sister, your cousin. NO ONE deserves to be beaten for ANY REASON, plain and simple. Its the ultimate example of a false sense of control.
