My right bicep is spasming like crazy right now.
Does that indicate dehydration?

Muscle twitching is often indicative of a magnesium deficiency. Supplement with Mg Citrate as opposed to oxide.
can you a recommend a food source?

It’s also a sign of overtraining/undereating.

It could be dehydration, but when was the last time you trained your biceps? I ask because, sometimes after training a muscle group there will be residual tension in the muscle caused by a stimulated nervous system. A lot of times when I work a muscle group real hard… one or two days later I get the same thing. So it is nothing you should worry about!!

Low magnesium levels can cause muscle cramps. Try Endura by Metogenics. It is a workout drink high in magnesium.
interesting feedback thanks guys.
I did actually work my biceps two days in a row. I’m doing full body workouts and I had to miss my workout on Monday so I went in on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I wondered if that had something to do with it but I highly doubt I’m overtraining.
Undereating, however is possible as I am coming off the V-diet and slowly increasing my caloric as well as carb intake.
Look at your electrolytes as well as hydration. Sodium and potaassium. Potassium being the usual lacking one. eat cabbage and banana.
You can get magnesium in whole grain breads and cereals, and also in milk/cheese/yogurt products. That is where the brunt will probably come from.
Be wary of supplementing with magnesium pills. I heard that too much magnesium can cause dystentary. I don’t know if that is true because my source was one of those worthless GNC info machines.
