I primarily juice because I put so much time, energy and resources in and out of the gym. This is an added bonus I feel I deserve from all my hard work in the gym, the kitchen and researching. I also have a personality in which I like goals to be obtained at a faster rate than what is currently feasible, while keeping in mind overall health.
I would not consider my use as a shortcut, more of a means to an end that allows my goals to be closer in sight. What I mean by this is that my use does not allow for me to cheat on my meals, skip my workout, or indulge in activities that could potentially interfere with my success. In fact, I hold myself more responsible for a lifestyle that leads to my success, just so I can allow my self to use steroids. Shortcut is a word that could be used, but because of the negative connotation associated with it, shortcut does not seem to fit with my steroidal vernacular or ideology.
It seems to me that when someone takes a shortcut, they get to skip a few steps to obtain what they desire. Saving time and effort does not really fit in with what I want. Although, steroids can decrease the time between workouts and shorten the time to your current goal, it does not really save you any effort. In fact, it allows more energy to be expended during a workout and after with the increased anabolism, etc. I really do not believe steroids would allow anyone to be satisfied with their current level of performance since ones goals are continually changing. Meaning I will not stop working out at a given age when my goals have been accomplished.
Those who do not have any idea of what they are doing, whether it is in the weight room, kitchen, etc, should avoid the use of steroids. It is just my hypothesis that those who use and can not get into a proper routine of eating and lifting will suffer more psychologically than those who can get their act together. Plus, the potential adverse affects associated with steroid use can be potentiated by the fact that some users have no idea what they are doing or simply ignorant or in denial about the health consequences.
No matter how much juice you take, if you sit on your ass you will look like you sit on your ass. Steroids do not create a well functioning and great looking body, they only assist you; along with proper nutrition and training these goals can be achieved.
I suggest to those interested in steroids first get their training and nutrition on par before commencing steroid use and I suggest to you, OP, try steroids for yourself and you shall come to realize that there is not much of a difference between those who choose to use and those who do not, it is really only a stigma.
