Why Agile 8 Over Limber 11?

I noticed Jim still recommends Agile 8, even in Forever. Has he ever stated why he still recommends that even though DeFranco came out with Limber 11 at least 5 years ago? I’m just curious since they both achieve the same goal.

This is probably why. If it ain’t broke…

I figured this was the case but I wanted to verify Jim wasn’t onto something that I had missed. In that case I’ll stop sweating the minutiae.

Don’t just save it for that case. Do it for all cases.

In case anyone still reads this, I just learned that DeFranco originally created Agile 8 just as a way to address lower back pain and loosen the area. He didn’t realize that others were recommending to use it, and T-Nation then came out with an article talking about it. Only later did he realize how popular it was and then thought of taking another crack at it but having it address the whole body.

The impression I have is that at the end of the day, it’s about consistency and just doing something. Rather than obsess with the details, doing either is fine. It could be that Jim doesn’t know about the limber 11 but I imagine if you asked him this question, he’d say “Oh it doesn’t matter; both are helping you anyway”.
