Hanley competes IPF which means single ply.

Man I really don’t rate… 675-700 squat, 460 bench and 575-600lb pull at 242 doesn’t compare to what some of the guys are doing!

Fuck Hanley, 242!?!

Am I wrong in thinking that it wasn’t that long ago when you where competing in the 198’s?[/quote]

Uhhhh last 198 comp woulda been July '07 I think?? Been 220 since then, and went to medium 242 for my last meet. On my way back down to 220 and hoping for an 1,800ish lb total early next year. I probably won’t do anything between now and the 'cept get stronger!

Mark Bell posts as Guy-no afaik.

What about Pegg and Wendler too.

This thread is funny. Not sure how I rate:

In multiply–meet number for bench is 905
Raw 550

Raw meet squat–725

Raw meet dead–605

Raw total 1830

Gym lifts:
Multiply squat 860
Multiply bench 935
Raw dead 635
Raw bench 585
Strict curl 225
Standing strict shoulder press 365x3

I quit power training for armwrestling training now, so I am more focused on wrist curls than benching…LOL

Haha, holy crap!

I’d say you rate fairly well. I don’t think many people will disagree.

Why the change to arm wrestling? It would be a shame to stop power training all together with numbers like that… Though it will give me a chance to catch up i guess. I just need to find 650lbs on my raw total somewhere

I got bored with just benching. Wanted to go to full meets, but my back just won’t hold up. Too many herniated disks, the compression from squatting in gear messes me up. Anything over 800 is just too much for my back. Considering my deadlift blows—I just would not be competitive at all.

Needed something different after 12 years of bench only and push-pull, so I just said screw it and decided to try out armwrestling. So far I love it, and its giving my back a much needed rest. Plus I put over an inch on my forearms since starting the new training…that’s just cool.

I may go back to benching someday, but not soon.
