Thanks for the posting of the letter by Gannon, Sifu, that cleared a lot up for me.

Anyways, old man, there’s a difference between “almost losing your job” and getting sent to prison for life. The state has no problem sending crooked cops to prison, so if he indeed break the law, with or without the cover of authority, he would be in prison.

Are you serious? They don’t send people to prison for unsanctioned fighting. A fine is the most likely result.

His being a cop has nothing to do with the legality of the fight.

Cops are just people, they break the law too, even the ones that are not crooked.

Yes, being a cop had ALL to do with it. Police are held to higher standards, and are expected to know the law.

Police normally face higher charges when convicted due to the fact that when most cops break the law, they do it under the cover of authority.
