dana cut paul daley already… i don’t think he should have been cut, suspension/fined.
Daley should be cut, and Koscheck should be fined.
Shameful displays by both…though the way a lot of people talk in these forums, I’ve no doubt plenty think what Daley did was ok.

I don’t think anyone on this forum would say what he did is ok… but why should koscheck be fined? hes a douche and talks trash… I definitely don’t like him… but whats wrong with him talking trash?

Yeah Paul Dailey is an idiot and kos needs to take some more acting classes.
To me it looked like Paul wanted to shake hands or acknowledge Kos in some way and when Kos walked away from him he snapped.
Kos also refused to look him in the eye during the Referee’s instructions in the beginning, so maybe Dailey just got tired of feeling ignored.
Oh well, he got 15 minutes to punch Kos and the best punch he landed was a sucker punch after the bell, he deserves the boot. Semtex is a bitch ass nickname anyway. Later punk.
i dunno, hard to say in the heat of the moment what anyone would do…agree with a release/suspension/fine, but disagree with lifetime ban, but he has opportunities outside the ufc right now…shitty fight, koschek certainly went back to his roots.

I actually expected Koscheck to submit Daley. I will say that while Daley’s ground game has serious holes…it has improved tremendously. I was suprised how he avoided damage and worked off his back…AND the one takedown that he stuffed really well.
Maybe Koscheck was surprised(or frustrated) that he couldn’t tap him with that rear-naked choke and was inspired for the Oscar-caliber acting with that knee…lol.
I’m pissed at Daley like a disappointed brother would be for the cheapshot…Koscheck is still a bigger douche overall,imo.

He tapped his back to get his attention then took a cheap shot… and a lot of fighters don’t look into their opponents eyes… its not a sign of disrespect just how they get ready to fight. Fedor comes to mind as one of those fighters.
I wanted kos to get his face pounded in by daley but after last night I lost all respect for daley… I say good job dana with the cutting him.

Me too, especially since MMA is a young sport on the rise, Dana really needs to keep it away from the “barbarian” type image that people with little to no exposure have of it.
I’m glad Dana is sticking to his word and cutting dickheads if they fuck around. That’s how it needs to be, there needs to be zero tolerance for fuckwits, UFC may be growing in popularity, but there’s still a hell of alot of people that need to be convinced it’s not “dogfighting” with humans.
Agree with the decision to cut him, it’s not too big a punishment. You take a sucker punch at someone, your career should be over. It’s not too much self control to expect from high school athletes, it sure as hell shouldn’t be too much to expect from professionals.
Fuck Kos he deserved it, poor poor Daley.
