"According to mixed martial arts Web sites, Slice is a 31-year-old from Miami who was released from prison almost a year ago after serving 10 years for an unspecified crime. Since getting out, the 6-foot-2, 260-pounder has made a living by charging opponents $5,000-$10,000 to face him in no-knuckle street fights at various locales.
A series of videos online show Slice arriving in a backyard clad in nothing but a pair of sweatpants and battering foes with names like Adryan, Afro Puff and Big Mac with dozens of punches until they finally submit.
He is unofficially 9-1 with his only loss to Boston’s Sean Gannon, though Slice later claimed that Gannon used mace during the fight and also relied on MMA tactics such as elbow strikes that were supposedly against street-fighting rules."
I’m going to take a wild guess and say that he gets his ass handed to him. I’ve seen video of that Gannon fight and he just got beat. I mean, maybe he could do alright among lower ranks, but against anybody legit I think he’d get rocked.
The fight of him getting beaten on by Gannon used to be online, I had seen it a pretty long time ago. Don’t recall Gannon pulling out any mace during it. But you never know, he might actually have Spiderman-like talent, only he can shoot mace instead of web.
And I didn’t know that throwing elbows was “against street fighting rules” – I’ll keep that in mind. El Guapo says there are no rules in street fighting, but then again he also advocated jabbing people in the eye with tabasco bottles…
I’ve seen the gannon fight and Kimbo just plain got beat…no two ways about it.
both guys hadnt got great endurance and got gassed pretty early on.
As for kimbo fighting in MMA…what a joke!! Kimbo is a bum…and the only people he has ever fought are bums. I mean, all the videos of him on youtube are him fighting average guys off the street, and somehow he’s been pumped up to be this awesome street fighter…
I dont get it. Most of the guys he’s fought I am almost positive I could beat myself…Kimbo is an internet superhero, who picks and chooses who he fights and makes sure his opponents are shit, just so he looks good beating them.
The ONLY time he ever came up against someone who had even REMOTELY any fighting skills (Gannon), he got his ass handed to him and then pissed and moaned about how Gannon cheated and used elbows etc. I saw the fight and I can tell you that it would not make a goddam ounce of difference if Gannon had used elbows (although I can’t even recall him using elbows…maybe he did, but not much)…
the fight was a joke anyway, with Kimbo’s crew constantly jumping in to grab Gannon off him.
Bottom line, if kimbo comes up against ANYONE who can fight he is gonna get wasted. I would pay to see that fight because I think Kimbo is a pumped up asshole who knows how to throw his fists just enough to beat untrained bums on the street.

LMAO!! Bas Rutten sure is a class act. What a guy! Btw,Gannon did NOT pull out mace. They just made that shit up to make it look like Kimbo is unbeatable. FYI,There is no rules in street fighting, kids. If there were rules,it would have been in the ring or cage but it wasent.
Cannon could have pulled out a gun and it still would have been accepted. Hell,With the way Gannon was wining,he could have strangled him with a RNC,Ground and pound Kimbos face until a bloody pulp,or the very least pull an armbar or Kimura and broke his arm.
As only a casual fan of MMA, I am curious about the kinds of rules that are followed in these “Cage Fury Fighting Championships”. Is it more like K1 or is it more like UFC with the need for a big ground game?
Rules in a street fight? Sounds like a cop-out to me. I saw the Slice-Gannon fight, it was a mess. The respective “crews” jumped in like 10 times, and the fight never seemed to end. I had no clue what was happening, but I guess you would have had to been there.

Similar to UFC rules. K-1 is stand-up only and is considered kickboxing, or modified muay thai (limiting clinching and no elbows). Unless of course you are talking about K-1 HERO’s, which is MMA albeit with no elbows like the UFC and no knees and kicks to the head of a downed opponent like Pride.
And as far as this fight goes, it kind of makes me want to throw up.
Bimbo Lice looks like shit. At least in those videos where he drags the fight for 2 hours by having 18 of his posse stop it every minute. It’ll be fun watching him get knocked to shit in the first round.

I’d like to see him face off against Hunt.[/quote]
LOL, yeah Hunt makes for fun fights (Hunt vs Butterbean is still a dream for me). He got his start fighting after he cleared house in a bar fight in New Zealand and a bouncer told him he should come to a muay thai class with him.
But fighting Hunt would mean facing an opponent who isn’t 90 years old, fat and punch drunk or an opponent who isn’t turning tricks at the bus station to earn crack money. That just isn’t Kimbo’s style.
It was knees that were illegal in the fight and then each crew jumped in and separated them. they resrtarted and Kimbo got beat. The illegal knees had little effect on the fight. I never saw elbows or mace. Apparently, street fight use punches and wrasslin’ only.
dont talk shit about kimbo. i am a big fan of him, the guys tough and can fuck up basicly any1 but still people gota shit talk people over the internet that could probably mess them up
