When I see this pick all I think about is…I could buy about 140 bottles of Laphroaig with 7 grand. God knows how many cigars.

You’re forgetting that this is seven thousand pounds. It would be twelve thousand dollars. You could buy over three hundred bottles.

I’d be set for a year or two lol.
This is pretty much my rotation now. The Bowmore legends is like my everyday single malt Scotch. The Laphroaig is my special occasion Scotch. The Johnny Walker Black is for when I want something sweeter and not so peaty. The Woodford is one of my favorite Bourbons and I use it for mixed drinks for my wife. Mostly mint juleps for her and neat for me.

Since I’ve seen how fast Push puts down a beer, all I can think about when I see that picture is how fast twelve grand would go bye-bye.

This might have already been mentioned but has anyone tried Jim Beam Black Double Aged? might be my new favorite under $20.

Had a bad experience with Beam in the past. So I stay away. Buddy at work loves this stuff though. Personally, at $20 I’m buying Buffalo Trace which I love.
Lordy, I have loved some ladies
and I have loved Jim Beam
and they both tried to kill me

Hank Jr wrote about '73, but it was about '83 for me,
Side story - made myself a no name whiskey over my parents house the other day and it was crappy tasting enough I mixed with coca cola to drink. When mom asked what I was drinking, she said “I bought that to marinate some meat.”

Dang
sorry for the cluster quote above
Got a bottle of Old Pulteney - distilled in bonnie Wick - as a graduation gift.
Such a great whiskey, somehow blends salt and sweet perfectly.
Bought 3 bottles of this today. I know I mentioned this before, unbelievably cheap for a Islay single malt. If you don’t like peat this whisky is not for you. I bought every bottle they had. Always afraid somebody else is gonna buy it all up before me. Found out about this whisky online when I was looking for a cheap islay single malt.

FTR, I’m now a fan of Maker’s 46. I think it’s significantly better than its daddy, Maker’s Mark.
(Just realized I may have already posted about M46 but I’m too lazy to look and see)
I keep asking for this at the restaurants we go to.
No luck yet.

It’s Maker’s with more “pop” and more flavor.
