For all who appreciate Jack Daniels whisky, highly recommend you visit Pitty Pat’s Porch in downtown Atlanta for your evening meal.
For the appetizer only, order a double shot of Jack (neat, of course) and an appetizer plate consisting of fried chicken wings along with an order of bite-size blueberry muffins. The batter on the fried chicken wings makes the Jack Daniels taste like honey. And the blueberry muffins are so delicious you will get chill bumps. And remember, just one order of this appetizer, as I do not want you getting a tad drunk like me and eat appetizers all night long.
For the main entrée, order the “Hunter’s Special” and you will be very content. Buffalo, venison, quail, bear, and jambalaya. And more double shots of Jack Daniels neat, as the meat is prepared to compliment the whisky.
Writing this recommendation for you all has made my stomach growl and brought tears to my eyes !!!

Jameson is my personal choice of drinking whiskey. I like 100+ proof bourbon for shooting or when I am in the mood for something stronger. As I have gotten older my taste in whiskey’s has def moved away from the bite of bourbon though and more towards the smoother whiskeys.
Agree with everything said.

Tgi Fridays whiskey fraud. Remind me not to go here to try out whiskey. They were fined for using cheap whiskey for top shelf.
From the article: “At one of the 29 businesses targeted, a mixture that included rubbing alcohol and caramel coloring was sold as scotch. In another, premium liquor bottles were refilled with water that was not even clean. The state never identified which restaurants or bars those were.”
I’ve always said that too many people think they are some sort of whiskey expert ( I don’t think I am) and that they can tell the difference bewtween an 18 year-old blended and a 12 year-old single malt but this is really bad if you can fool someone with brown rubbing alcohol.

Maybe that is why he was reported and caught. The rubbing alcohol was a bit too harsh.

Well if you already drunk you could give some people rams piss and I don’t think they would know the difference.
Dear God for a second I thought you were talking about ram’s piss.
Oh, jeez, could you imagine? Fresh from the mountain ranges! That early morning piss! Sure to get you plenty drunk! Just be sure to not get any in your eyes!

I’ll be dropping Sen Jr off at Georgia Tech on 8/7 and will check this out.
Look forward to reading your comments. And, as a reminder, it is also recommended you take six caps of Indigo-3G at least an hour before leaving for this restaurant. This has been one of many favorite “cheat day” restaurants since say 1974.
I know this thread is all about teh whiskey, but if I’m in a ‘standard’ bar or restaurant I usually order nothing but beer out of bottles…all this talk about rubbing alcohol, etc…about 15 years ago I made this decision after drinking margaritas with She Say at some place near the beach…we each literally drank about 20 margaritas and no buzz…you couldn’t tast the booze and we kept telling the waitress there was no booze in there and she’d say, “Oh it’s in there, just you wait”…we were like we’ve had 20 each we should be fucking dead ya twat.
