Actually I am curious if Biotest is publically traded or if they plan to be because this entire setup is genius. Companies like this are the future.

I just became extremely pissed off from a seemingly innocent post I read on this site.
The poster was buying bulk protein from somewhere other than this site… that just fucking pisses me off.
Any protein, fish oil, post-workout shake, or creatine you buy for cheaper than you get here is guaranteed to be utter garbage.
Support the friggin site that gives us free information and rock-bottom priced, high-quality supplements and stop fucking whining about the prices!

This is ridiculous. I am not going to criticize Biotest supps on the company’s own site but realize that not everybody is convinced that they are that great or that much better than other supps. I don’t even use bodybuilding products so I’m not going to discuss those, but I’m perfectly satisfied with the non-Biotest fish oil I use (Zone Labs) and see no reason to switch. Furthermore, I don’t really take information from this site (I only come here for the message board), so I definitely don’t feel that I owe my loyalty to Biotest.
If I ever buy ZMA again I will buy it here. If I ever decide that I could benefit from CLA then I will buy it here.

Buying in bulk cuts down the shipping cost considerably. I combine orders with friends and we split the shipping.
yeah buying in bulk would seem like the better way to go… . even though youll get extra customs charges if the value of the imported goods exceeds a certain amount…
I’ve managed to avoid that so far, customs normally gets charged if the product can be made in NZ- which the stuff I buy can’t be.
. but then theres still the worry about additional shipping charges being made without my consent. …
have you ever been randomly charged extra postage cost by Biotest after the package had been delivered? I got taken for an extra $20 US because apparently New Plymouth is “remote”
Really? I’ve never had that one happen. But I’m in wgtn so I guess it’s pretty central. Man, the NZD has dropped 20cents against the USD since I last ordered- the NZ Biotest site is becoming more attractive every day…

Last I checked, message boards and web pages don’t run for free. By purchasing Biotest products, you’re also contributing financially, which I’m sure makes things like T-Nation Radio (Double-Tap interviews), video clips within the articles, and other more involved technologies, more likely to occur. It’s the same with any business, every customer’s purchase helps. So, next time you need to give a birthday present, pick up a Testosterone t-shirt. Hell, buy a Biotest Poster for your office (it’s only 7 bucks).
Belligerent, I see that you’ve been posting here since September of 2003. I don’t think it would break your bank account too much to kick back a few bucks to support the organization which has given you entertainment and information for this long. But that could just be me. I was raised to say thank you to everyone, from the lunch lady in the school cafeteria to my office manager when she hired me.
And for the record, if Biotest could figure out a good multivitamin, I’ll be on the list of folks who really will have no reason to purchase elsewhere.
Hard to argue with Minotaur here. My only exception would be the few things that T-Nation does not yet carry and/or never will. Like my powdered eggs and flax oil. Hell, I guess if T-Nation sold salmon steaks I’d buy them here!
Otherwise I thinks it’s only logical to support (financially) the site that gives so much info/entertainment for free.

I think this site is supported. That doesn’t mean that we pretend as if no other company in the world makes decent products or that we can’t speak about different supplements. To some, it is common sense that this is a good company and they leave it at that. Some others, like the guy that started this thread, fall into the line of thinking where they basically stop thinking for themselves and become some sort of zombie for the company. That is what I am against, not the simple support of the company whose site we use daily.
I think it’s absurd the stance you people take.
I’ve had my posts removed by mods because they were promoting products from another site.
I buy plenty of stuff from Biotest, so what if I’m asking about another protein?
Biotest still has the best creatine/fish oil/Spike around so I’ll continue to buy that shit.
I love Biotest, but that doesn’t mean you need to buy ONLY Biotest.
Still waiting for Biotest decent prices in the UK and some official importing without the total rip off current pricing.
Nothing stopped Bill Philips shipping early EAS stuff here and selling it at a decent price after a while. I mean the products like Myo-Plex and Phosphagen rather than the HMB.
We have a population of over 60 million, in perspective thats three times that of Australia, nearly double Canada etc etc.
The market for decent sports supps is HUGE, but currently if you want say Metabolic Drive, its more cost to buy form Rip Off UK sellers than a family of fours weekly food shop and that’s eating decently too.
Now that’s a whine.

WORD!
And if you don’t buy American, you’re a communist!

This thread is stupid. I use some supplements from here and I use some supplements NOT from here. How am I selling myself short because of it? Some of you need to grow the fuck up.
I’m not a Prof X knob slobber like some of you all are but he is exactly right. I buy protein in bulk because if I bought ONLY Metabolic Drive I’d pay out the ass. The price is definitely great for the quality but I’ll settle for slightly worse quality to meet me protein needs.
I think Biotest should start selling condoms… and hookers.

As it happens, I have purchased about $200 worth of ZMA from this site in the past, so I figure that’s enough money to be able to use a message board.
I use some Biotest products(not bought from this site) so I’m still contributing to T-Nation but truth is most of the supps I use I buy elsewhere and aren’t Biotest. Last time I checked soldiers were dying in Iraq so we have freedom of choice. Sounds to me like you’re the whining bitch.
