Which Articles Should I Read?

Hi,

I am Paul, from Argentina. I am 18 and been going to the gym for eight months. This site is awesome, I see many interesting articles but I do not know which ones I should read!

What are the articles that you suggest me? Is there any ranking of the most popular articles so that I read the most important ones?

Look at the Threads at the top of this forum, they link to several good articles which are great places to start. Then I would reccomend “the thib system” a 4 part series of articles that explains really how the brain of an advanced trainer works.

‘5 thigns you should know about every exercise’ and 'functional anatomy for badasses" are good to look over just for an understanding of what to think about when looking at exercises.

If you go through all that then you are a reading stud. Welcome to the site

What are your goals? We can only suggest pretty general stuff without you asking for specifics.

For dieting, start with John Berardi’s articles, they are great and eating a proper diet should be one of the first things you get under your belt.

In that case, go back to the Beginners main page and read the top 5 threads that are stickies. It will give you a great start on how to eat and workout in order to start building a solid base.
