Where Do You Push Your Prowler

I’m thinking about getting a prowler and have been eyeing locations like a local park or commercial parking lots. I’m guessing the noise would be too loud to do in my neighborhood at 5:00 AM.

On a strip of artificial turf at local high school.

In my driveway, no complaints yet. Guess they think if im crazy enough to do something like that for fun they would probably be better off to just leave me alone lol

on the driveway but its not mine, its my cousins where we have the garage gym. There is also a side road and some good places on the grass to push it. But I do plan on buying my own house in the next couple years and I only have 2 requirements, it must have a driveway, or a street with very little traffic for pushing the prowler, and a garage big enough for a gym.

inside the facility I am currently at (at least until I am banned for life ; ( !
My facility went from being an “athletic club” to a fucking “Spa”

We have a turf field in the back. Its only 30yds though so if we want to go further we just use the parking lot at the gym

I push it on a stretch of turf although pushing it is easier on concrete than on turf or grass because of less resistance. Though I’m not too sure about energy transfer to the prowler or how steel interacts with concrete vs. turf/grass on a molecular level so I don’t really have any data to back this up other than personal experimentation (to which I kept no records unfortunately). I wonder how much more weight a concrete based prowler would need over a turf based prowler for there to be the same amount of force production per foot. There has to be a formula for this somewhere. Discuss.

In the street in front of my house and what I have noticed is some spots are smoother than others and if the asphalt is cool the sled really glides along , I do walks and maybe a run on last trip

Street in front of my house if I’m pushing it.

A lot of times I’ll attach it to my belt and pull it or attach a lat pulldown handle to the front and pull it. In that case I just do laps around my back yard. I can’t push in the backyard well because it will dig into the ground but by pulling it the front end pops up a little

I push (or pull/drag/am humbled by) my prowler in the parking lot behind a local movie theater or in an empty parking lot at the local college. The parking spots are about 8-9 feet wide, so it is easy to calculate distance.

I am lucky enough to belong to a gym that has prowlers and a strip of turf in the gym for them, so that is where I do them. I convinced our head football coach to buy three of them for the football team and we have the kids push them in the school parking lot. They are pretty loud in on the concrete, but the screams of my football players soon drown that out.

Schools that are out of session - you can use tracks and fields depending on how brave you feel that day.

Same here. The golds I go to has a small section of turf they use for those bootcamp classes, and has a prowler. I just push it down, pull back, push down and pull back to get a 40yd pass in. The quad burn from pulling the sled backwards is insane.
