I’ve heard people talking about it for a few months now. Does biotest carry it?
Kelly,
Just go on EAS’s site and order it. It cost me like 5 bucks…
Kelly, I got my complimentary copy for stopping by the EAS spaceship–I mean booth–at the Arnold (of course, the EAS people and display didn’t hold a candle to our Biotest/T-mag boys and girls). I just checked the muscle media website and you can pick it up for FREE with the only caveat being a 5-spot for shipping.
Kelly, unless you get it for free, it’s not worth the time.
I agree with BigRob. If you’re not getting it for free, it’s not worth the time and effort. Just wait until they have a new supply shipped in their warehouse. To be honest with you, I wasn’t too impressed with the publication.
Thanks guys. I’d just heard a few good things about it and heard it wasn’t an entire EAS supplement catalog so thought I’d ask. As long as the info is accurate things like that do come in handy when I’m in the gym…at least 5 newbies a week come up to me and ask things like “what can I take to put on some weight? lose some fat? etc”…so besides referring them to t-mag having a handy supplement review to let them read makes things a lot easier.
Good to see you posting again Timbo. I know you’ve been hitting the weights hard so that must mean your health is ok eh? How did the info with your liver bio turn out?
Aw, Kel, I’m blushin’, man…thanks for asking. Yes, I’m hitting it about as hard as ever and loving every minute. ALL the results came back negative from the biopsy, so that’s great news (but what I had expected). While it’s frustrating to know that I basically was just treading water for 4 months, it’s good to have that behind me…I got into a new endocrinologist about 2 weeks ago and have already been working towards finding out what’s going on there and seem to be making some progress. I’m awaiting some blood test results (hopefully Tuesday) and I think there will be a diagnosis/treatment following.
Thanks again for asking, Kelly. I do think the five bones for the Review might well be worth it for your situation. It’s not a top-quality text by any means, but it explains quite a bit, in-depth and at a reasonable level.
Did you guys forget about
the workouts by
“the evil russian”
Pavel T.
that’s in the book?!?!
BBD,
Funny thing. I gave the SSR the cover to cover and then lent it to a taecher of mine. Didn’t know Pavel back then. I’ve since become very interested in his work but I have to wait until Sept. to get my copy back. I can’t remember what the program was like.
Can someone give me a description of the Pavel hardgainer workouts that are outlined in the book. I also received a copy of the book but gave it away because I was so sick of EAS. I was just curious to see what it was liked I asked this question over at dragondoor but Paval can’t answer it because of some contractual agreement with EAS.
Thanks in advance
To tell you the truth, I got the book just because of Pavel’s workout. It didn’t cost much and plus it gives a complete 16 week program that seems worth trying.
Man good to hear everything looks ok with your health. Keep hitting the iron hard!
Kelly…you betcha, bro. I’ve been keeping my eye out on ya too…you Renegade of Funk Coach D’s workouts sound really kick-butt! I love that guy…he fuels my fire just reading his posts…between them and a couple emails from JB, I have the perfect motivational reading before ripping up the iron world! Keep doing your thang, big guy, and I’ll let you know what’s up. Any questions about the Review?
