I’ve always had questions about when my cardio work outs should be incorporated into my weight training program. Currently I am trying to leave at least 48 hours between a squat session and a cardio workout. My cardio is mostly sprints from 90 seconds to 2 1/2 minutes after a five minute warmup.
I dont think it makes any difference when you do cardio. its always going to interfere with recovery from squats. so do cardio whenever you feel like whenever you feel in the cardio-mood

for most people it just doesnt matter. you could also try eccentricless conditioning, like pushing a sled which can help with recovery in the long run.
