Whats YOUR Breakfast?

Simple topic.

People post what you eat for breakfast and could explain your program with it. Thought it would be a nice topic so people could find new ideas for breakfast so that they don’t have to eat the same thing every day.

Mine:

300g Chicken, Egg whites, vegetables

Bowl of oat meal, banaana, apple, and/or papaya. Then pre-SURGE I train post-SURGE, come back and have 4 eggs toast.

Something like that normally

I’ve been eating oatmeal w/ whey and blue berries. On the week days I make an egg white omelette w/ free range turkey sausage and veggies, take it to work and eat it about 10:00 am or so.

I’m trying to lose fat so its a good carb timing strategy. Carbs first thing in the morning then low carb until post workout. The omelette is also better than meat and veggies for a morning snack.

I eat 6 eggs raisin bran or oatmeal with nothing in it. I may have some nutella when I first wake up or peanut butter because it’s cheaper and maybe some whole grain bread. Try to get a fruit, a grain, and a buncha protein.

Oh, and I have 2 slices of bacon on leg day. I don’t know why, been doing it for a while. Makes me happy, probably makes no difference as far as training. So, nutella, eggs, raisin bran, banana, and milk. I enjoy breakfast when bulking.

4 large eggs, 1/4 cup cheese.

I’m cutting, and I didn’t see serious results until I dropped down to <30g carbs/day.

Breakfast has no carbs, and I stopped downing a PWO drink.

I seem to oxidize fats really well though.

4 eggs (or more, with cheese, if I’m hungry)
Lots o’ Steamed Broccoli
1 piece of fruit
4g fish oil

OR:

2 scp whey
1 banana
1 tbsp olive oil
Instant coffee (optional)
All blended together in a delicious chocolate banana shake. This is my “shit I woke up late” shake.

Lately I’ve been leaving for work early so I have been eating 2 scp whey and a serving of Peanut butter

big plate of fruit
2 eggs, 4 egg whites
2 w/w toast
1 cup of oatmeal
big glass of milk

5 Eggs Scrambled
1 Cup of Spinach
1 Can of Tuna

I am on the anabolic diet and performing high intensity workouts in the Crossfit vein in order to cut bodyfat. My diet is constructed to minimize the intake of blood sugar impacting carbs, while intaking enough protein to maintain muscle mass. This is the start to week 5 of the diet and about week 8 of the workout, and so far it seems to be working.

2 scoops Grow! Whey
1 tbsp EVOO
1 serving Superfood
1 serving Flameout

2 Bowls of Captain Crunch (with Crunchberries)
2 Krispy Kreme donuts
2 Egg McMuffins on the way to work

Not far off the average American Joe’s Breakfast…

3 Omega-3 egg omelette w/ 1 oz. mozzarella
1/4 cup almonds
banana
3 Flameout softgels

40 g. (dry weight) steel-cut oats w/ LCG! depending on the day.

At the moment I’m trying to drop weight, so its pretty small by my normal breakfast standards:

Wake up and down the following ASAP

  • 2 x HOT-ROX Extreme
  • glass of ice water
  • cup of coffee

Then cook:

  • 3 x whole eggs
  • ~50g ham & salami

Which I eat with:

  • More water or coffee
  • 1 multi-vitamin
  • 3-5 x 1000mg fish oil capsules

When in maintenance its usually 1 cup of oats, 50g of whey and 1 cup of blueberries.

When all-out bulking (rarely for me being a FFB) its usually 1.5 cups of oats, 50g of whey and 1.5 cups of blueberries. I’ll often replace the blueberries with peanut butter to mix things up.

I’d say the average joe doesn’t eat any breakfast at all…

I have 2 breakfasts
0400
handfull fish oil caps.
32oz milk (if I have it)
1 chicken breast or 1/2 pound steak (self cut from lean roast)and 6 eggs
1/4 cup cheese cubed

no later than 0900 and after working out
carne asada burrito (3/4 pound steak,pico de gallo,guacamole with habanero salsa)
44oz Iced tea
32 oz with 3 scoops muscle milk

i say 2 b-fasts casue I do not start my day untill after I hit the taco stand
that is my leisurly sit down bfast the other is made the night before minus the eggs its just something i grab as I am getting ready to go

I’m also in the two breakfast club.

4:30 grab and go
Sausage, mushrooms, onions, 1 egg, and some cottage cheese

8:00 postworkout
Oatmeal with a scope of Metabolic Drive
8:00 non-workout
More sausage and veggie dish

cup of oatmeal w/ two eggs

or

3 or 4 fried eggs with toast and cheese (fried egg sandwich)

or

3 egg omelet with veggies or ham and cheese

everything with a glass of milk

My program’s goal is to gain strength - Starting Strength.

4 eggs, and 3 stalks of celery!

Today (and most days before I train in the morning because it’s the only time I can) I had:

6 eggs scrambled, two bannanas, a few handfuls of blue berries, glass of whole milk, a glass of water.

I suppose I could make this better with oatmeal which I like, but I usually make a mess when I cook it.

1 cup of oatmeal with some splenda
50 grmas of whey Isolate
3 eggs
1 glass of milk
1 tbsp of PB

This is what I eat everyday its quick and gives me LOTS of energy amd protein Im curently bulking!

Its around 1000 calories
95 grams of protein
90 grams of carbs
12 grams of fiber
20 grams of fat
