Rugby Union, 2 games a week for 4 years during university, one for uni, one for my club. Felt like I’d been in a car crash every Thursday and Sunday. It’s nice to have a break and just do weights!
I feel your pain. Thursdays were made 10 times worse by the obligatory drinking sessions following uni games. Its nice to only play once a week now.

Field hockey in high school, college teams. I was a fullback, and on special occasions, a sweeper.
Women’s rugby. Let’s just say I was the oldest member of the team. I was second row, lock forward.
I’m not fast or agile. I don’t consider myself athletic. I might move slow, but I can stop a bus and power the engine room. And that’s all the talent a defensive player needs.
Woot, I played rugby for about 2 years as a lock. Only downside was when the props don’t wash their shorts
I read a sociologist who wrote that an unimpeachable social position comes from being a married, employed, white man with a clear complexion and recent history of athletics.
so whichever requirement you don’t meet, best to get working on it.
played hockey all my life. same with my bro who used to use this account. i’m still playing hockey competitively…might be going overseas but not sure. Played D1. My brother got drafted to Vancouver 2years ago and playing D1 as well.
So glad they canned that motherfucker from UVA…real, manly men. NOT. They should stick to P90-catabolic-X, natty lite, driving shitty jeeps, backwards caps, and the list goes on…

I think someone had his wiener touched by a lacrosse player and is now a little sensitive.

I wrestled from 4th grade to graduation, ran track for a couple of years in middle school, and rode bmx recreationaly since I was 12. Started snowboarding at 17, mountain biking at 28, and have been free climbing rocks and boulders since I was born.
Went Kayaking this evening for the 2nd time in my life, first was in Monterey Bay in 1993, this time at an inland lake while fly fishing.
I think I’m going to start kayaking lakes and rivers. It was a good bit of fun. Would have been more fun if I had caught a couple of fish though.

I don’t ski or snowboard often but when I do I know I feel it in my legs the next day. Definitely can be a sport when you don’t fall down every 20feet.

Cool idea for this thread but I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of inflated posts on here or just some straight up BS posts about how good some people are/were… But I’ll play

After reading a few of these posts, I have a feeling you are right.
Rugby from highschool till '06. Probably my best sport, ended up playing at club (about the equivalent of a DII college level). Lacked the ball skills to progress to the next level though.
A season of Australian Rules
4 seasons of soccer when I was really young and it was a compulsory winter sport.
Swimming for 8 years. Was state level in high school, but certainly not great at it.
Squash for two years when I actually played regularly. Still play occasionally.
Waterpolo for 4 seasons.
Powerlifting for about 5 years now. My own lifts suck, but I made the national team as a junior and now I mainly coach. Main guy I help is our best junior, and it’s just embarrassing since he’s in the same weight class as me and destroys me on everything but the deadlift.
