What's a Strong Closegrip Floorpress?

You hear that a 3X BW pull is impressive a 2X BW squat for a few reps
is impressive what about cg fp?

Is a 1.5 X BW CG FP with a 5 sec pause anything to write home about?

About 40lbs heavier than my best is what I consider strong. I’ve been chasing it forever and haven’t got there yet.

(did you see what I did there?)

If you insist.

What is a strong tiptoe double overhand thumbless close grip barbell curl? 0.558 x BW? Legit question

Lol Really it was a legit question… really… I don’t even know what to say. Can ask why the hell you would ask?

The only thing I’d know to compare that to is a 1.5 bw bench, which I suppose is decently strong

WHO CARES

Lol I guess compare it to a 1.5 bw close grip bench +10 pounds? 1.5 BW for a heavier lifter I guess is starting to be decent.

These questions are such a fucking waste of forum space. Who. Fucking. Cares.

Who Cares? I care or else I wouldn’t have asked.

I asked because I haven’t seen (other than internet vids) anyone do them and I’ve found them to be very effective in carrying over to flat bench so going to keep them in my routine as a staple.
The vids I’ve seen online are of freaks of nature powerlifters and so I wanted to know in general where I was at.
(ie if I posted a vid online of it would it just be like cool story or would it be like that’s pretty impressive cuz I was thinking about boosting my online ego by posting a vid of an ego lift and I don’t really rely on anything they tell me in the bb section so didn’t want to post a vid of an incline dumbbell lift or a dumbbell shoulder press and if I posted a vid of any of those two in the PLing section I would get 5X more Who Cares than I did for just asking this question.
Way more info as to why I posted question as neccessary go ahead flame away.

when i said i don’t really rely on anything they tell me in the bb’ing section i didn’t mean anything offensive; just meant that there’s too many 16 year old kids telling people what to do over there and in the pl’ing section most of the time I’ve gotten advice that’s really helped me when I’ve asked more concrete questions than the one I did.

I’ll throw a number out. 405 is a strong close grip floor press.

Here is a good sign.

If you have to ask if something is impressive, it isn’t.

I won’t be posting a vid 'til far from now cuz I’m bout 100 lbs off.
Now I’m back down to earth and realize how far I have to go to get an impressive
number. That was the purpose of the question…thanks.
