any tips?
You’re good for more if you dip a bit lower on your catch and punch those arms harder to make the lockout solid
it looks real good to me. the one thing that i would say is to make sure you finish completely locked out with straight arms and shoulders to the ears.

Fella, there’s about a thousand different things that factor into how long it could take you to go from 300 to 400 . . . could happen in a year or two, it could never happen. Although it’s fairly likely someone will come on here and give you some time frame they pulled out of their ass to appease your curiosity.

I’ve actually never really done behind the neck jerks (at least not heavy or hard enough to remember, anyways). I’ve jerked 160kg in competition though (~352).

Yes you should be able to jerk more from behind head
- You have your back in the way to help jerk the bar, remember if yoru trunk is soft you can’t jerk sh!t as you can’t put the power from your legs to the bar if your trunk is soft, try pushing a brick with a spring = useless, but do it with an iron rod and it’ll move
- the bar goes straight up, if you jerk, the bar moves slightly up and backwards, or your body will have to move forwards to get under it
- the weight is more over your heels.

Only yesterday I did back squats on 130kg for 4’s and 6’s!!! Still not 100%, back feels weak and disjoint from a pre existing injury.
