What to Do 1-2 Weeks Before First Meet?

Right now I am running the Russian Peaking cycle to get me ready for my meet. The last week of the program has me doing 1x1 on both squat and bench. My meet is on a Saturday (4/14). When should I do the 1x1? Should I even test my max before a meet? Also, I was planning on just resting for 5-7 days before my meet. Any suggestions or ideas for how I should get ready/peak/rest?

I’ve run that program several times and just finished 2 weeks out with the 2x2. 1 week out I would warm up and hit a single 10 lbs or so below my openers (which should be what you used on the 3x3 week). This was usually the Sunday or Monday before the meet. My 2 cents…
