What is the best way to approach the last two weeks before a raw competition?

I agree with this. My first meet I following a “peaking” program, and I’m almost positive it mostly just messed up my rhythm.
Work up to openers, rest a bit, obviously don’t kill yourself before the meet. You want to be fresh without losing sharpness.
I usually hit it hard until a week out, then keep it to explosive work. Around 3-5 days out from the meet, I work up to my opener on each lift. Then after that, I’ll either do light/explosive work, or just rest.
But most importantly, it’s your first meet, HAVE FUN! Make sure you dominate your openers, something you could hit for a solid triple even.
