Right I am currently following bradon lillys cube method. This has me testing my new maxes in a couple of weeks or so. On short notice I have entered a meet on the 21st of april which would leave me 3 weeks between this testing and the meet. This is only my second meet and the first one i just went in without any planning or peaking etc.
How hard do people reckon my testing should be and what should i do over the the 3 weeks between then and the meet? all help welcome thanks.
do 90% of your max, start new training, rest up for a week and go

I would do something like this. Disregard the program and maybe work up to a 90% single for your “test” week, plus whatever else you want to do. Then, I’d run a simple three-week wave working up in intensity towards that 90-92% single again (which would basically be my openers for the meet). I’d just try to keep the split and total tonnage the same from Cube, but increase the intensity range week by week. If Cube has something you can tweak to make this work, I’d just do that. Then take a deload week, do the meet, and test your maxes there.
