What Program to Build Mass Fast

thanks guys but i cant really bring a shake to school. It will have to stay in my locker and will probably smell and taste like shit by 4th period
buy a lunch bag and put ice packs in it—cold shake even by 4th period

My Man, there are so many ways to put calories into your day
Example of “healthy” snacks are as mentioned ziploc bags with trail mix, down the shake (super shake: oats peanut butter, whey, protein, fruits, veggies, superfood, milk) before it goes bad

Also if your afraid about your shake going bad keep a insulated lunch bag in your locker that you can keep your food in
Your in school, you should be able to get in at least 3 meals or feedings, eat before you leave for the day, and then when your at school you can have your “lunch” and your potatoes and steak during your history class I believe you said, and another high cal feeding, now you figure out the timing for all of these

A big breakfast
At least 2 big meals during school
And another big feeding right after school should be enough for a 8 hour period (I assume school is 7-8 hours long)

If you really want you will find a way, instead of excuses
Good luck

STOP WASTING ENERGY and time ON SAYING YOU “CAN’T” and instead use that energy to find ways in which you CAN achieve your goals.

Thanks guys for the reality check. I just have to do it. Im brining my steak in a cooler and some nuts and dried fruits. Thanks!

Pizza is fine, but white rice IMHO (from cost perspective and post workout food perspective) is much better. To an extent you can make up for your inability (or difficulty) in eating during the day by “cramming” after your training sessions.

2 cups (dry measure) of white rice is 1300 cals and 300g of carbs. If you get all your protein (say 200 grams maybe more) and good fats you should be gaining at a reasonable rate.

Why do people automatically assume JUST cuz someone’s in high school they can get away with eating shit?? Moreover why is it being encouraged? High school’s a pivotal time to get good eating habits in check (since you are constantly growing and sucking up nutrients like crazy).

OP if you drink a gallon of milk a day and try to load up on pizza you will probably feel like shit and it will most likely negatively affect your performance.

Good heavens man, stop making excuses. There’s a billion options out there that will work.

About 1-2 hours after your post workout shake, drink a dozen eggs. Costs a bit over a dollar a day, around 750-800 calories right there, pretty much pure protein and fat. I’ve done this for months at a time, and it does nothing but good for me.

Or drink a gallon of whole milk every day, in addition to solid food, simple way to get in over 2000 decent quality, cheap calories.

Bring “puppy shit” to school and snack on it. Recipe:
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1/2-3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1-2 TBSP honey, to taste
Granola to taste, if you want a little extra texture (and smellier farts just for fun)

Eat a ton of beef, sausage, eggs, shit like that. Make omelets with no less than 6 eggs, with all sorts of animal flesh mixed in, and cheese. Tastes amazing, lots of quality calories, not too expensive.

Just do SOMETHING!

I do eat my fair share of carbs but i just dont scarf down a pizza randomly. i prefer to eat clean because i feel better. I dont see anything wrong with eating a sweet potato and veggies with a steak opposed to a pizza. 1 because i get in more protein and 2 because i dont feel insanely shitty after. I am 100% willing to do whatever i takes to gain mass, strength, and athleticism.

Exactly my point above. Keep eating what improves performance for you…but, big BUT…you are going to have to eat more of it. You will need an excess of those nutrients and this will mostly likely mean that a large portion of the day you are eating when you don’t even feel hungry.

Thread summary: EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES

I did GOMAD for around 4 months straight, but was sensible enough to keep the rest of my diet 90% clean, and it worked very well for me. Just don’t do this if you have ANY dairy allergies or sensitivities. Should go without saying haha.

Alright, I didn’t wanna say anything, but if you’re serious about being an athlete, don’t train like a bodybuilder, train like an athlete.

If you eat, you will gain plenty of quality mass on WS4SB or 5/3/1.
You are not eating enough to gain weight.

I disagree. take Frank Mir the ufc mma fighter, for example. He wanted to gain size to compete better after getting destroyed by brock lesnar. so he incorporated a bodybuilding type program. He kept doing all his other training, cardio, sparring, jui jitsu training…etc… But to gain size, you have to train like a bodybuilder. Since these guys don’t have “years” to gain the size, they want that added 15lbs in 4 or 5 months, so they need bodybuilding type training along with a higher intake of calories(obviously)

honestly i am not trying to make excuses. I was just asking for some ideas on what to bring to school to get some cals in. When im out of school i eat as much as my stomach can hold. For instance after my workout 2 scoops of Metabolic Drive. 30 minutes later 3 eggs 6 oz of chicken and an onion. 1 hour later 12 oz of beef and a shit ton of beef. Just trying to get some quality cals in during school without it being a hassle.

Thanks guys. I assume wsb4sb3 is a good program for my goals so ill stick with it. I have been honest with myself about my eating and its not very good. I ALWAYS eat clean but with school it is impossible for me to get in all my cals. On the weekends i have no problem getting them in. Any suggestions on things i could bring to school and keep in my locker to eat between classes to help get them in? i usually have some almonds and every now and then a protein shake but i only have 5 minutes in between classes. THAnks.
Why guys here insist on bringing solid food to places is beyond me. You want extra calories and protein, you make a nice protein shake. add a bananna or something. why spend 15 minutes eating a meal(not to mention the time needed to make it.) I have 6 shakes per day with only 1 solid meal. I could understand if solid food was somehow better for you. it takes a good hour for solid protein to get into your system, while a protein shake is in there in like 10-15 minutes.

You want to bring something to school. buy a small cooler, make 3 protein shakes for it. it takes 20 seconds to drink. thats a whole lot better than eating something for 15 minutes.

rogue- thanks for the input man. What type of program would you recommend running. Any in particular?

Have you not been listening?

IT’S NOT THE PROGRAM.

You need to lift hard n heavy as often as possible. Get adequate rest and eat an abundance of calories = growth

gregon- i am doing that right now. Some people on here have said i could go on a BB split and i want to hear there opinions. I am probably going to just stick with WSB4SB3 for now.

Read the above! Your program is good for piling on mass assuming you get enough calories. Go to costco and buy the biggest container of almonds they sell and eat one container a week. Drink protein shakes all day long. If you are lifting WS4SB’s how you are supposed to then the problem is getting enough cals.

Do it. Key words here: “stick with.” Progress on any program and you’ll be fine.

If you’re eating enough and getting considerably stronger then you’ll grow
