Truth.
Bullshit. People believe what most people believe
until someone challenges it. If you really think “perceived limits” can’t hold people back, you don’t understand the human condition.

Not only that, but look at the backlash if ANYONE claims they passed this supposed “limit”.

It isn’t like some of you don’t go all out to disprove anyone who says they do it
and clearly this is because you all aren’t holding anyone back.

Crabs in a bucket.
Uh, if someone claims to have passed the limit, and isn’t just full of shit, but is telling the truth, than it’s proof they weren’t limited.
It is also proof that many of you believe in these limits even beyond what is right in front of you.

and not only will you believe them, you will fight tooth and nail to make sure they hold if anyone even comes close to it.

It is one thing to hold a belief personal
and quite another to try as hard as some here do to discredit anyone who challenges it.
How about challenging it with evidence?
Did that already. I got told that caliper readings are now invalid.

worrying about what’s attainable natty is the same in my eyes as fat chicks whining about size zero models.

Who cares what someone else has done? Just be the best version of yourself you can.

And while I hate to throw flames on an argument that has raged through this place like napalm, something is only viewed as unattainable natty until someone natty attains it. Maybe you’ll be the first? Won’t know if you don’t try.
.

This.
Obviously there are LIMITS though. Someone should start a thread about it
But if everybody’s limit is different than there really isn’t a limit
and who says anybody has a limit? What if a person reaches the so called “limit” and keeps working, are they just going to stay the same after that? Are they going to get a text msg saying “you have reached your limit, no progress will be made” come on man!! For most peole they talk about natty limits to make themselves feel better when they see dudes that are bigger, stronger, and faster then they are
They use the, “he isn’t natural” excuse so they don’t have to worry about trying to compete with that other person
There isn’t a hard and fast limit that can be used for each person but each person will have their own limit. It’s basic physiology.

Doesn’t mean you should not train your ass off erry day and do what ever you can to continue to progress and enjoy what you are doing. But to say ppl do not have a size/leannes limit is asinine
I know people have a limit but they will never reach that limit in less they challenge what most people think the limit is
No one said not to try and beat these charts, where are you getting this from? these are just accurate expectations of what experts believe majority of people can gain naturally. based on experience and studying of TOP NATURAL BODYBUILDERS. no one said stop fucking trying if you get close to them, and you would be an idiot to do so.
I think this whole thread is stupid
.
That’s nice
Who the fuck told you that you had to be apart of it?
hmmm I believe that would be nobody
Just throwing my two cents in
Don’t get all butt hurt because I don’t agree with you
Professor X wrote:

So what do you calculate your LBM improvement to be at this point? Serious question, not an argument. I don’t remember what your caliper reading was, so please re-state it if you don’t mind, and lay out what your starting point was. The new caliper reading alone doesn’t really tell us anything.

I have a bad feeling you are going to tell me that you won’t do that, but I am genuinely curious what you think your own gains have been since you started. It would definitely help people understand where you are coming from.

If someone doesn’t understand where I am coming from after this many years, they need to do research.

I gave my stats and my stats made it to that mark. They are now arguing that caliper readings are invalid because I did. That makes no sense if you are not trying to hold people back and don’t use limits to actually limit someone.

It is how they work.

Look, man, I am not going to spend the energy tracking down where and when you said what. You do realize that’s nearly impossible for a guy with as many posts as you, right? Research? People need to research what you are about? You are not a superhero, or a Wikipedia page, or a person of note in America. You are just a dude who likes to lift weights who posts on T-Nation a lot.

I find it hard to believe you do not have your stats memorized. It would have taken you 2 seconds to type them, and at the very least, no more time than it took for this response. This seems to be your biggest interest in life and I bet you could tell me your exact caliper readings first, last and every one in between without a blink.

But, you’d rather just argue with every human being who comes into your radius than be a decent guy.

Cool. Not far from me. I was actually born in Homestead AFB, but raised in Michigan. Been in Tampa for about 3.5 years now.

Naturals can accomplish a lot. I competed at 182 at 5 6. Benched over 400 and could parralel squat 500 no belt or wraps.
I never did any prohormones, only creatine, tribulus etc
At 39 I still can put up 400 and squat close to 400 ass to floor. The reason why i competed in the first place in no one believed my brother and I were natural back in the day.

That is within the realm of possibility mentioned in this thread. Saw your pics, you and your bro looked awesome.
