What is This 'Coaches' Problem?

Could it be this coaches problem is that he suffers from a small penis?

The sad thing is, these boys wont ever become prosperous in the sport of powerlfting because of this. the coach focuses on too much gear and dumb shit instead of just good ole’ heavy raw work. these kids are ECTOMORPHS who are wearing fucking gear! Theres no good in this shit.

how can a squat be too LOW?

Too Low-def-a squat which recieves three white lights.

man, he needs to get his ass to New Look Eye Wear, they’re having a special right now, 90$ for a complete pair, would do him worlds better than any amount of equipment too

and why do I get the feeling he uses roids too and then wonders why he can’t lift elite level…

" My best competition lifts are an 810 squat, 500 bench and 700 dead lift. While in the Marines I obtained a perfect score of 300 on the physical fitness test. 20 pull-ups, 80 sit-ups in 2 minutes and I ran 3 miles in 17:53. I’m not much of a runner and it took me over 3 years to get my 3 mile run under 18 minutes in order to get the perfect score. "

God help us all. That’s a 2000+ total. I’m not sure whether to believe it.

I highly doubt it.

This man is a perfect illustration of the phrase “A little knowledge is dangerous”

Now ive read all this thread i believe this man is powerlifting’s equivalent of Mike Mentzer except that Mike was slightly smarter.

Listen to him talk about how there’s no tension on the band… when the f*cking bar is at his waist! He doesn’t seem to notice the bar is higher when he’s “squatting”

Look at this statement, and then look at the video 4 posts below yours. it stuck out to me how small his frame is, especially his forearms. There is no way in hell that those forearms could support a 500# bench. This guys got issues man.

…I’ll just throw in there that you need 100, not 80, in 2 min to be able to qualify for that 300pft.

“Now my opinion is, if you want to get real strong without using steroids, get a rack.”

I am baffled as to what this really means. Just kind of a weird quote.

Back in the day they had to do 80 full sit-ups, but the 20 pull-ups wasn’t the same they were allowed to kip and bicycle

It was probably a shirted bench, so it is possible. Possible but not likely, based on what I’ve seen to date. I was on his forum a few years ago and I think I recall him saying that he could bench 315 raw.

It would have to be a shirted bench, he only trains in his gear

Last I checked a shirt doesn’t cover your forearms. I don’t care how strong your base is, or how much spring you get behind it…if your limbs are more akin to twigs than trunks, you can’t support 500 lbs over top of you!

Depends on age but I know for me its it in the 80’s to get 100. But thats not important, what is however is that this guys needs to get hit by a bus!
