funny how he makes himself sound like a genius describing the gains they made. these kids are beginner lifters that could walk up the stairs and make unreal gains, better then the shit hes got them doing now. and i think i saw a video of him with joe mazza?

I love the part at 0:36 where he says “great set, don’t hurt your back.” this is my new ‘favorite’ video of his

At first this is what I thought, so caricatural that it can’t be for real!

Interesting…you have any idea when that article was posted?
Meet video. I feel bad for the kids who are obviously working hard. Interesting that he’s disabled comments on the video…
I guess full range of motion and full control of the weight isnt part of this coaches hand book.

Seeing this article is a perfect example of why the internet can be so fucked up when it comes to training information.

Change the 10 from 2 till 9 and you can see all of the articles hes posted up there…ie joeaverage2.htm. joeaverage3.htm…etc

You can also just delete the number for the very first article in the series.
Correct me if I am wrong, but in this video of the great coach himself, is his suit on backwards?
I could just be ignorant, but all of the suits I have seen with velcro straps, the strap attaches the opposite way of how he has it set up in this video.
I like how he calls the kids retards. In an earlier video when he tells a kid to “shut up”, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see one of those kids shank him in the video.
The suit looks backwards for sure. The velcro is usually on the back. I looked for him on the multi-ply lifter rankings. He’s nowhere in the top 50 for multi-ply.
Who the hell needs assistance exercises when I can assist myself doing my big lifts? Holding on to the rack > working on my mid section for stability. Where do I sign up?

Awww, poor kids. That tall fellah hadn’t even built up the stability at the hole to finish a lift.

What a negative environment, this is why I left weightlifting and came to powerlifting, because the gym I was training at had such a damp feeling, it just didn’t welcome me. I wouldn’t like to have him as my coach even if what he taught was the best training in the world.
Man this guy uses bands way too much, I bet the kids don’t even know what their actual maxes are hence why they keep bombing.
What a fucking clown, he wears his suit backwards and loads up more band tension than he can even handle. I can’t believe he tries to say that he train Gene and Mazza, maybe the used to train together like a hundred years ago. I can’t believe he is trying to get a patent on his training system, who would want to even use that shit anyways. Delusional fuck
I could be wrong, but don’t people wear their suit backwards to increase its lifespan? Something about being less hard on the stitching? Not sure, but I thought I remembered reading a thread about that recently.
Not that I don’t agree that this guy is an idiot! Let the flamefest continue.
But guys, we should be open towards new training methods and not judge just from these videos until we’ve seen it in real life!
/end irony.
