What Gets You Hyped?

I just read someone in another post, they were quoting Slam, by Onyx. That is so aggressive and onyx-style, it gets you right up for working out. Anyone got any other tunes like this?

Personally, lately i’ve been puuting on ‘Salute’ by MOP, it’s like adrenaline to me.

Dope “Die MF Die” and think about getting back at the terrorists.

Drowning Pool “Bodies” same reason as above.

Judas Priest “Pain Killer”

Ha, ha! When I was still going to nightclubs circa 1993 or so, my friends and I would routinely get kicked out of our regular spot for, for lack of a better term “slam dancing” when Slam by Onyx was played. We’d jump as high as we could and slam into each other in mid-air, usually bouncing off and wiping out other patrons. The club owner actually (so I hear) physically broke the record so the DJ could no longer play it after about a week of this. Juvenille and assholish, I know, but it sure did work to get us hyped back then.

Nowadays, Get Back by Ludacris does the job nicely.

He never said Muslims.

Slayer has a great song, Threshold.

"
I don’t want to see, I don’t want to hear
I don’t want to feel anything Can’t you understand
Everything I do doesn’t stem from you
It doesn’t have a fucking thing to do with you
I just want to die Throw it all away
Never have to feel again the way you make me
Lose my fuckin’ mind all the fuckin’ time
Can’t control the violence that’s spewing from me
Take It
I can’t control the rage that flows from me
I can’t shut it down it overwhelms me
I can’t stop the rage that flows from me
Can’t Stop The
Violence I love it
No one’s immune to hate that flows from it
Infectious I feed on it
Every fucking endless day
You’re either on my side or else You’re In my way
No one stands a chance when I’m lashing out
Random hate there is no other way
It’s my discipline it’s my way of life

Never wanted bliss never wanted you
Never needed anyone I’ve polluted
Everything you feel everything you are
Everything you’ll ever be you repulse me
It’s always about you always come at me
With shit I can’t identify you know it makes me
Lose my fuckin’ mind all the fuckin’ time
Can’t control the violence that’s spewing from me
Take It
Can’t stop the
Violence I love it
No one’s immune to hate that flows from it
Infectious I feed on it
Every fucking endless day
You’re either on my side or else you’re in my way
No one stands a chance when I’m lashing out
Random hate there is no other way
It’s my discipline it’s my way of life "

Usually I think of the innocence dying overseas, good people who are being completely mind fucked by their government media, the mothers shrieking cry after she witnessed her children being burned alive by a god above - USAF. About the lives being taken daily by famine and killing in africa, rape, and lastly the wars that will continue to happen because of the mind-set we have. self intrested people rule.

and also sepultura blairing through the headphones.

I find that Anti-flag is really good for the drive to the gym.

i do the following on occasion before going to the gym as well as before going out to get my party on:

turn down all the lights and sit down and close your eyes, and put the stereo on blastoff setting.

first, play Luciano Pavarotti’s “Ave Maria” in its entirety. but following this on your playlist, set up “Hearts on Fire” from the Rocky soundtrack. if done properly, after the strings die out on ave maria, hearts on fire will light your ass on fire and make you sprint to the gym and/or violate the social scene.

just my suggestion…

Sounds just the video, the club owner should’ve known better!

Those slayer song lyrics sound like they’ll amp you up, but i find anything too wordy focuses me on the song, rather than the response (ferocity)
