What Exercises Do You Suck At?

Anyone here have an exercise that they just don’t do well?

I’m just awful at squatting. The weight feels awkward on my shoulders, when I’m descending I feel like the weight’s going to topple me forward. My knees snap out, or in sometimes, when I’m trying to press back up. They shake like tree limbs in a violent storm. My legs are tilted when I come back up, kinda like this: / /, although sometimes they’re tilted the other way: \ \ . My hips aren’t even, and my waist juts out at the top. They even make my stomach hurt, even 135 lbs. Plus they hurt my lower back and I feel like it’s almost like doing a good morning when i lock out at the top. Plus when I get to parallel or below I just don’t feel like I have any power coming out of the hole, i feel like it’s all knee ligament and spine doing the work. I watched some videos on hip drive, but the techniques didn’t help one bit. I can deadlift 430 lbs, bench 285, and I can barely squat 275. I can actually bench 225 around 15 times, but can squat it only 6 lol. The thing is, I get all of those problems I just described even with 185 lbs, which is below my bodyweight of about 190 at 5 10

It’s weird, because my ass & hamstrings are hugely disproportional due to the deadlifting & genetics, I’ve got a lot of dense muscle in my lower back…and yet my squat is abominable.

What’s your kryptonite exercise, if you have one?

Maybe you just can’t squat?

I have no weaknesses. I’m elite level for raw 182 class with a total of 1880 lbs. Nah I suck at bench 275 ish at 200 lbs. Squat 375 X 3, dead 455 X 2. I can dumbbell bench decent 110’s for 8. I’m 6’1" with long as fuck arms so I blame them and then go suck my thumb cuz I’m a pussy.

They hurt mine too. That’s why I kinda cheat on mine. Almost a hang clean, but no catch. Works for me anyways.

Leg extensions are the most peinful exercise in the world to me.

Skull crushers - did them once and they caused elbow pain for a month. No idea why but never again.

If you guys truly suck at specific yet basic exercises like this, that should be indicative of an imabalance that needs correcting.

Bosu Ball Dumbell Curls/Tricep Extensions

I really need to turn down the suck to learn how to use the great tool that is a Bosu Ball. All the pros are doing it.

As of the last few years, pressing movements. After 30+ yrs of training, my right shoulder has impingement syndrome. My triceps are dominant, so DBs are my best friend here lately.

Curls! Im horrible at them the most ive ever curled for sets is like 50lbs… pathetic:D

Squat rack curls, I can only do the bar and on top of that everyone around me gives dirty looks when I’m doing my 10 sets of squat rack curls.

I’m pretty sure just because I’m better at one lift than another, there is no need to panic and completely rewrite my entire routine.

Everyone is going to have weak bodyparts, or lifts where they aren’t as strong as others…

I think your taking a light hearted topic and jumping to conclusions here.

Everyone has different leverages. Are you going to tell a person who isn’t built for squatting to keep doing it? Very arrogant to say you have no weaknesses. If it hurts im not gonna do it, im not going to try and be a badass and ignore the pain and cause injury. If i suck at it, i’m going to try and get better at it.
