Sounds simple, can be simple, but can also be complicated.

Setting standards for how your partner treats you is probably key. Uncompromising standards, so that if they drop below them they’re out. Once you establish that early in a relationship, it sets the tone. Everyone knows where they stand and what is expected of them.

Obviously everyone has bad days and that means they’ll be shitty and say stuff that isn’t nice; but if they’re a decent person they’ll still stay within certain limits. That’s where the standards come in. A decent person will live up to those standards. A shitty one won’t.

That’s pretty much it, if casual hookups aren’t an option. I hate to say it, but I don’t think casual is much in your vocabulary, you seem to catch the feels pretty easy. I understand, I’m the same way. I like @MarkKO 's advice of ‘have high standards that you don’t compromise on’, I think that’s your best bet. You go in open to a relationship, but don’t let bullshit slide. If someone shows you what kind of person they are, believe them. Kick them to the curb if they’re a dick.

I don’t know much about what other single women do as all the ones I met from work are married , but for me personally it can range from crying to getting hyper creative.

Sometimes I don’t know if I’m extremely horny or just disordered, lol

If it’s a weekend and I feel immensely horny and I write something in my blog book it goes away and feel fine. It doesn’t even have to be that I could just write a poem .
If it’s a work day and I’m rushed I feel like if I dont masturbate I will lose my mind. Like literally to the minute of my daily routine I need to do it or I will explode .
I cant handle my existence unless I masturbate or be creative in some way essentially.

But that makes me think more than a man, I need a creative outlet because if writing makes my urges go away it clearly poses the same magic as my vibrator.
