I have a question regarding the repetition upper body day in this program. DeFranco says “choose one of the following exercises and perform 3 sets of max reps or 4 sets of 12-15 reps.” If I do the max reps option, is there a certain amount of reps that I should aim for?
It depends, if you’re doing bodyweight exercises like dips or push ups with chains it’s obviously as many reps as you can. Otherwise just grab a pair of dumbbells that you know you can get at least 10-20 reps with and go nuts. In the end it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s high rep work.
