Haha, I was the same. Just sat on the floor laughing at myself.
That’s even more cheaty than sumo deadlifts. I like it!
I always thought that was the “easier” version? Either way, with a shoulder that’s currently barely in the socket, I’ll pass on that one. Enough planking for me today in any case.
Took one day off, then had a Bob day only yesterday, back to the gym today. Shoulder day. Mostly still just seeing where things are at while getting in some decent work. Was kinda a mixed bag today. The 80 took 2 attempts, and I am not even sure the one I managed really counted. It certainly wasn’t convincing. The sets at 70 were also more difficult than I want them to be, but I think my way forward here is to keep working things at that weight. Or maybe start a 531 with just upper body, I might be able to pull that off The rest is just…work.

My videos no longer get properly imbedded for some reason, but here is some wank material:
I think there’s a lot of changes going on on the back end of the site at the minute. I’ve noticed the site has been becoming more and more unusable over the last few weeks, so hopefully they’re fixing some of that crap.
Yeah, maybe that is it. I also am getting a lot of those “ghost posts” or whatever it is when you see duplicate posts that are greyed out and all kinds of other small things not working.
But yeah, if we just wrote logs without all the conversation, I don’t even see the point of that. While it is nice going back a year and seeing what numbers looked like, I have another log where I can get all that. For me, the point of the logging is the conversations it provokes with like-minded people, and everything that comes with that. Whether that is showing off, getting advice, giving advice, challenging each other, making fun of each other…it’s all good.
Yeah you’re exactly right. The logging in itself… meh. You usually remember what you did last week anyway. Still can be nice to see how you progressed over months. But I recall the recent podcast between Fouad Abouad and Jay Cutler, and the mr O said he would log everything, even the number of poops he had, but that he actually never looked at them back again.
