Merry Christmas old man. Or do you say Happy Christmas? I feel like Merry Christmas is an American thing. ![]()
Well I am technically American, so Merry would do.
And same to you!
That’s why you have an American accent when I read your log!!! (Not kidding actually, you have always been American sounding in my head). ![]()
![]()
Wait. Are you actually American? Why have I always thought you were Australian?
It’s 'cause he’s fancy and does all his lifts in “kilos,” haha!

OMG! My mind is blown!!!
I am rather fancy.
Fancy is a word that fits you. Lol.
Honestly that was a legitimate jaw dropping wtf moment for me. I sat straight up on the couch in shock! ![]()

The good news is that my subconscious already knew you were an American. So it shouldn’t be that much of an adjustment for me.
Now I’m curious. Whereabouts are you from?
Originally from the Seattle area. These days I live a bit outside of Copenhagen.
Like in Denmark?
Merry Christmas is also the Australian way.
Is there another one?
I didn’t think so, but my assumptions as of late have proven to be problematic.
This does clear up some confusion that I had. And it also explains the fanciness…
Speaking of confusing and fancy, I went to the gym today for no good reason. 8 reps still eludes me, but I think it is mostly an equipment problem. Can feel these new straps slipping at around rep 5. I think maybe I have to go back to raw dogging it.

Really it’s the only way to go.
Ah, you know what? I be we’ve had another one of those linguistic misunderstandings. Over here, Raw Dogging means filling our hearts with the purest joy and giving it our absolute best effort.
That’s what I meant. What did you think I meant?
