Weird, but impressive

you never know, the easter bunny might show up !

And that would give us more protein to work with!

Well this is getting depressing.

I know. What’s even the point of training if you can’t achieve your goals within three weeks?!

If you exercise for another week or so, perhaps we’ll find out!

Lockdown Day 18. Still no abs.

7 rounds with Bob today. The more I do the kickboxing thing, the better I feel and the less compulsion I have to do something foolish, such as go outside and run.

Also more standing broad jumps. First cold jump was 7 foot 9. Then I started doing them in between rounds with Bob, and that improved things rather significantly, guess being warm helps, who woulda thought. Every following jump was at or around 8 feet, plus one PR at 8 foot 1.5 inches. Can still feel room for improvement here, but that puts me nicely in or above Wendler’s middle category, that fat asshole.

Lockdown Day 21. Still no abs.

Yesterday was another Bob day. Today some pullups. Once again just aiming at doing 15 sets and seeing how many I can pump out, using a different rep scheme just for extra thrills.

Indeed it was. Like 15 reps more than last time I did 15 sets. High drama.

154 pullups at a body weight of I think 187 pounds (85kg?) means… 14.399 Imperial measurement tons. So yeah, I’d say you’re correct, @simo74.

Slowing upping the capacity on the HSPUs. Not sure how long gyms are really going to be closed, so it will pay to improve on these. Also did a bunch of standing broad jumps, most of them sucked but hit 8’1ā€ on the last one. The RDLs probably sapped some powers from these. Did them in between rounds of Bob.

Against a wall or completely expert yoga calisthenics mode?

Against the wall. I am not doing it as a balance exercise.

Still impressive crossfit stuff

Ewwww…crossfit HSPUs are when they do a full body convulsion in order to press themselves up and have to have a pillow under their heads to absorb the impact of their weak asses slamming back into the ground. You take it back!

Good point. But I haven’t seen a video of you doing HSPUs, soooooo
