You could adopt a CrossFit term - shoulder to overhead. Get the bar overhead any way you can. If youāre crazy then you can do press, push press, and jerks all in the same set.
Used to be called ā2 hands anyhowā back in the day. I like that.
It is kind of strange, because most of us probably never deliberately mix the different movements in one set, but why not? I can easily see the advantage of doing so.
Seems like a mechanical drop set. Strict press to failure, push press to failure, jerks to failure.
Iāve done it before and it resulted in great DOMS in the delts. Delt DOMS means I did some right.
Paul Kelso and John McCallum have both spoken to such an approach. And Jamie Lewis had a great 30 minute overhead challenge that allowed for this. Good variety .
Took ANOTHER day off yesterday. Although I did have a go at Bob, which is the first time in who knows how many weeks. Getting really terrible about that.
Anywho, squats again today. 150 is the topset for the second week. It went nice and smooth. Did a 155 joker just to make up for the off balance one I did a few weeks ago. It was a bit slower, but still fine.

What ever you doing training wise it seems to be working. You are getting stronger.
Isnāt it the stronger we are, the more we have to rest? Youāre getting stronger, a lot! So no shame in taking days off, these might be beneficial even!

Lucky you. My weight seems to be static. I am doing a lot of walking with the dog and just not eating enough. I really struggle to eat enough consistently. I can eat massive on one day or one meal but not all the time. Eating is so fkn boring.
I didnāt really consider it a brag. Itās fine for now, but longer term I am not sure how well this suits me. Part of it is health reasons, but also simply because extra fat tends to start at my love handles. Admittedly, this is likely because my diet is dirty as hell.

Not sure what would have happened if I ever said something like that to my mother but I am sure the consequences would have made me thoroughly regret my words.
Mate every day is a challenge and yet itās still makes me smile and laughs. Itās not easy but I do love being a dad.
