Weight loss and transitioning from powerlifting to bodybuilding

New here. 56-year-old male. Former Elite powerlifter. Have suffered several injuries which has brought me to the decision that it’s time to bodybuild and become a leaner me. I’m here in search of any type of helping training thoughts and in supplemental nutrition and supplement advice. I am currently 5 ft 7 in tall and 305 lb I have gained 100 lb in the last 4 years due to injuries I am back on track and ready to train just not exactly sure where to get started any help would be much appreciated.

Do any of these injuries prevent from doing any exercises? If so, is there a “work around” so that you can train all body parts?

First order would be to lose the extra 100lbs you gained. Just eat clean and get sufficient protein. Move your rep range into the 8 to 12 rep range on your exercises. For now, leave about 2 reps in reserve on all compound exercises.
