This week’s “Newsweek” has one of those health-ad inserts this week. On the back of the insert is an ad with a black background. All it says is “Do you know that over 50% of all prostate surgeries result in impotence?”. That’s it, except for the copyright, which is for “Weider Nutrition International”. I’m presuming there are only so many Weiders, so I’m guessing this is Joe & Ben. Anybody know what they’re going to sell? There’s no reference to any product name in the ad. I’m guessing something for prostate health/shrinkage or a “Viagra-lite”. I was just surprised to see a Weider ad in a news-magazine, with an ad in an insert largely devoted to prescription items. What is Weider going to sell? Anything he can get you to buy. This week’s special is a double split 6 days a week prostate examination. It is based on the Weider fleece’em principle.
They’re probably coming out with some super-charged (as in your credit card will be super-charged) saw palmetto product. I’m sure they’ll claim they invented it, and call it the answer to the “Weider Full-Emptying Principal.”
