I was just walking through the mall yesterday when I came across a generic Weider musclemag (or funny pages as I like to call them), and the front cover story caught my eye. It contained the word “steroids”!!! Maybe after all this time, pro bodybuilders were going to come out and tell about their cycles! So I turned to the page, and was dissapointed to find a “stay away from steroids” article. It did say pro-bb’ers were on steroids, but only as much as baseball players and players in other pro sports today (riiiiight). Then it listed horrible side effects like “gyno” and “kidney and liver” failure and “roid rage” and such things. It kinda seemed to me that the article was maybe some sort of a defence, to protect the company against people suing for the side effects they got while using steroids…Why do you guys think that Weider would come out with a steroid article now, when he has avoided to for many years?
Because he doesn’t own them anymore and the new owner supposedly wants to “clean” them up. That’s why they hired the Gunernator to be the Editor in Chief of Muscle and Fitness and Flex.

Because steroids are such a hot topic these days (MLB). They are just trying to sell more magazines.
I see…new ownership and more profit…I was actually tempted to buy that issue to laugh at it…
