Ways to Use Bands w/ Bodyweight?

Next fall, I’ll be living in Europe for a while with no reliable access to a gym. So, I was thinking about buying some bands, so I could just do body weight exercises with a lot of resistance in my apartment to help maintain/build my strength.

But I have never used bands of any sort. What bands do you recommend for this purpose? Is there a book or something that describes the best ways to use them to add resistance to body weight exercises? (I know they are often used with barbells, but obviously that is not what I hope to do).

If it matters, I squat around 335 and deadlift around 405. Thanks.
