Yo way, how do you find bb military compared to seated db? Do you use any leg drive?

Sorry guys, been really busy. DB’s only go to 120 in my gym and I can do those for 15+ reps so I can no longer progress on them, therefore I don’t use them. I like BB better though, and nah I don’t use leg drive.

BTW speaking of BB military, hit 275x5/5 yesterday! Taking the bar down to chin level too, so they are legit reps.

Also…I’m seriously considering trying the anaconda protocol to see if it will live up to the hype since I have a little extra money to play with right now. We’ll see what happens.

thanks for them tips on droppin the drop set thing way, everything gone up every session ever since lol

haha no problem, glad to hear it!

Tell me if this is correct. You do chest/triceps, back/biceps/calves, shoulders/hamstrings. When do you throw in quads. I’ve only seen you mention you do them not how you structure them in through the week.

I actually changed things up again since I can’t do AM/PM sessions with school now so it’s…

Back/calves
Shoulders/hamstrings
biceps/triceps/calves
Chest/quads

Taking Saturdays off currently because of home football games and I have to be at work all day for those.

BTW also ordered Anaconda Protocol 2, I’ll update you guys on that when it arrives. I want to see what all the hype is about.

Oh I know. But I noticed that he started changing things since he posted that and wanted to see if I was seeing something different or not.

Just checking to see if I got this down. In addition, you typically stick with 1 workset to failure in the 5-8 rep range. And 3-5 movements per bodypart? You seem to go higher reps on the hamstrings and quads though. This almost seems like a Mentzer approach.

Mentzer would absolutely destroy a muscle and then hit it again in like 3 weeks ahaha, def not my approach here. But yah 1-2 topsets, just depends. Aim for 6 reps before I up the weight again. I like higher reps for things like leg press but if I’m squatting or something then I’ll stick with that 6 rep principle.

PR today, hit 280x5 military press.

Had another solid workout, was feeling shoulders so I went ahead and did them again today. Got 285x5 and 290x4, boo yah! Also did triceps, experimented with some of the dead stop stuff CT suggests. Did CGBP and skulls off the pins dead stop, several sets of 3-6 reps. Felt pretty good, I really liked the dead stop skulls from the pins so I’ll keep those except the chances of me getting a rack more than once a week to do these is next to none lol so we’ll see.

now your back to bb militarys, are you still doing them seated half press for triceps?? i tried them the last few sessions and in 2 weeks have gone from the 55s to the 70s for 8 on dumbell presses

Nah man, I would but power racks are never available so I can’t do them the way I want. I may try doing them without the deadstop but IDK yet.

just out of curiosity why is it you do front squats and not backs?? is it more comftable because of your height?? im no where near the height of u 5 ft 9ish but i tried front squats for first time yesterday, and its the same as my back squat for same reps much more comftable to??

I fucking hate back squatting, I despise it with every fiber of my being. I love front squatting and feel it works my quads much better than back squats ever have.
