Waterbury 10X3 = Pain

I have been lurking around this board for quite some time. I have been lifting for 2 years and yo yoing between bulking and cutting. Or what I thought was bulking and cutting. I am in my second week of 10X3 for fat loss and just wanted to say that it is kicking my ass good. I have been sore somewhere for 2 weeks. Today it’s my quads. Don’t get me wrong I have been doing squats and deads as part of my regular routine but this 10X3 is something else.

Keep up the hard work. It’ll all pay off.

Hey thanks for the reply, I am glad I found your programs. I was having a problem getting through a plateau then, BAM, 10X3 made lifting exciting again. From here I am looking at Lift Fast Get Big. Motivation gets tough lifting in your basement by yourself but these various routines make lifting anything but.

A great segway from the 10x3 program would be the Waterbury Method. Also a great program.

what percentage of weight should you use using the 10x3 program?

Yeah, doing 10x3 is something else. Keep it up.

True statement. I work out in my home gym and it can be tough. I found that I have to make it part of the routine. I leave work, head home and then immediately start the pre-lift activities. Stuff like, drinking the same thing, putting on some music, changing and then heading into the weight room. On days that I’m feeling run down, if I deviate from this, I am likely to find an excuse to not lift.

Enjoy the program, it is a fun one!
