Want to Lose Weight But Knees Hurt

Recently (as in just yesterday) my knees started to hurt when I walk, go up stairs, etc. I’ve been shifitng my weight to one side (my right knee) for a while before this and started noticing it and I was trying to help fix it conciously. I tried to do zuckerman squats yesterday and by the time i was finished (had to stop early actually) my knee started to get tight and painful.

Here’s how I was normally going to lose a lot of weight. Eat healthy, and do some sprints (Guerilla Cardio to be more exact). This way, I maximize fat loss without losing muscle. The problem is now I can’t lift my legs all the way up for sprints. Should I put some biofreeze on it and continue sprinting or try something else or not at all?

If I were to try something else perhaps doing “The Cart” (system created by Jorge) where I put the treadmill on full incline (usually 15%) and go about 3 mph? What would you guys do? (I timed for losing weight by the way…need ot look good in a couple of days and ran out of HOT-ROX :P)

Get on an elliptical… eat right and do various modes on the elliptical each day. Mine has an interval mode where it gives you two minutes easy, then two minutes hard.

I would do the elliptical and eat right for a month and lose a bit of weight, then try running again.

Ya gotta crawl before you can walk, walk before you can run etc. start just walking and build from there any activity is a LOT better then none
