before gyms closed i had the goal in mind of going for a 4plates on each squat variation (not single leg obviously) there is. Might have to get an ssb to realise this goal
Squat
192 x amrap Got 9, wanted 10. I counted 10, but sadly i cant count for shit. Strength was there for another 1-2,(i cut it off at 10 in my head, since pushing way beyond is pretty stupid, since i had to bench and dead too.)
102,5kg x 6 on bench. Shit ive done better, elbow flared up, and the bench i bench on right now is a thicc piece of wood that just hurts. Cant complain though, so still eh.
Deadlift double @ rpe 9, got 215 x 2. Decently happy.

Quick update on best lifts the past Month:
180kg x 10 highbar beltless BIG PR.
215 3x1 squat and deadlift @ rpe 7 ish.
4th of july im maxing out, im fairly curious to see my progress from my competition since march.
First time in my entire training history i havent gone of program a single damn time. So any pr is gonna be earned to the MAX.
this saturday i’ve got a 3x1 220 both on squat and deadlifts.
Saturday’s training:
Comp squat: 3x1 220kg
Id say this was about an rpe 8,5-9. First time since my meet having this weight on my back, ill have to say i was little scared. I think the next time ill be doing this weight in training it will be much less scary. (Scared as in 5 plates looks big even though ive squatted it multiple times before, yet this time was different.)
Bench:
3x1 115kg
Nothing special. Bench has been the rund of the litter the past prep, not suprised. Im expecting a 2,5kg pr at best
Deadlift 3x1 220kg
First time doing this much weight on deadlifts in training ever, lol. it moved fairly easy, about how you would want a last heavy trainings deadlifts to move.
Todays training:
3x4 172,5kg comp squat. Easy af, didnt even register on the rpe scale.
Was a little sick yesterday though, so this was a nice confidence booster.
3x4 90kg bench. Same as squat.
2x3 172,5kg deadlift
Honestly same as squat. Im just happy my deadlifts are going so well.
One more training, that will probably in the gym, which are opening up tomorrow. Will have to see how it works with covid rules. Saturday is maxout time. Im hoping to cross that 600 barrier…

Depends allot on your squat aswel, looking at your squat idd say highbar would probably help yes, I think for squats for me its honestly been just SSB and highbar volume far out from testing/competitions. And then slowly switch to lowbar high volume…
Intensity wise how heavy do u go on high bar. Rn I’m at about 65% 1RM comp squat, throw on some heels and do reps. Would doing high bar in flats be better
Joey flexx does highbar in heels, and the dude is a insane squatter, so idd say continue that…
My intensity used to be very high, I think we had 85% of my 1rm for the top set at one point…
Its probably a base to base basis… My coach does all the programming tho
Did some in flats yesterdi. 140kg x 10 @ RPE 6. Best set of 10 I’ve done in any squat variation lol. Plenty to build on.
Just needa get total volume in a good place now and build up gradually.

232,5 third.
2,5kg alltime pr, 17kg pr on competition equipment. Time to build to the 240kg squat. (read that as 250kg)
Bench:
115 opener
122,5kg
127,5kg
2,5kg pr. Happy with it… For sure since i couldnt really bench for 8 weeks.
Deadlift:
210kg opener
222,5kg second
235 third (missed)
So, no pr… Still fairly happy with this.
