Your strength is blowing up it seems. Have you switched stuff up?

I think its a combination of programming thats bin slightly changed, and also my mental state.

Programming wise for squats, weve bin doing allot of volume, and allot of pause work, both highbar and lowbar. Combination seems to be gold for me. Also, just getting under heavier weights more regurlaly seems to help with the mental aspect of ‘shit this js heavy.’

For bench, i can only give credit to triple pause bench. If you’re strong on triple pause bench, youll be strong on regular bench. When i started doing those regurlaly, my bench blew up. 115-130 in only 2 months.

I’ve been seeing your lifts blow up on Instagram. What sorts of changes have you made in your training?

Not allot of real changes. Most of the training remained roughly the same, just building good session, after good session.
Also not doing a competition for 8 months, and not maxing all too much really does allot.

first time since competition+gyms closing all my working sets of squats are over 3 plates again. Its the little things that count

What’s ur lock down training look like? Home gym?

Yep. I decided to get a home gym the second gyms closed, realising it would probably take way longer for them to open then they said at the time…

Good decision…

$$$ or $$$$$

Little of $$$. got enough weights so i can train and make progress, a good enough squat rack.

Depending on length of this shit i might have to down the line invest in a better rack.
Hows your training?

It’s aight. Got over back injury late last year and been building back up since. Squats about back to pre injury levels, bench and deads are ahead now. Best lifts so far is still 195 squat from before back injury, 135 bench (I’m facing the boiz on here to three plates) and 240x4 deads. Hit 240x7 on my extra whippy gone set up though. 240 is the heaviest I’ve deadlifted so ever so far. Keen to see where I can take mega cheat deads to see if it carries over to calibrated plate pulling

Finished my bachelors and doing masters now so that’s distracting from the most important thing: is gains.

When gyms went I went a spent more $$$ than I’d like but got a good enough set up to last me thru this thing. All my peeps are safe and I’m trying to be productive and make as normal as possible.

Nice man. My trainings bin good to, Most recent competition i hit a 215kg squat, 125kg bench, and 230kg deadlift. Squat coudlve gone better, i hit 230kg in training, and 220kg+ multiple times for good singles.

Grats man! big steps

Same here.
On to some quarantine gains.
