Waking Up Ultra Sore

I’m always waking up ultra sore in the morning, but after maybe 15 minutes it’s gone. I’m more sore in the traps and shoulders especially, even if I did not trained them the last day. It’s has been like this for maybe the last 6 months.

It do not seems to be due to food, it was happening even while eating around 5000 calorie a day. Not a big deal, but I was wondering if it may be toxin or something. I’ll try to drink more water.

Anyone know what it could be?

Maybe you’re sleeping in an awkward position.

If I can recall, toxins don’t make you sore - they make you sick and septic.

Perhaps you strained something? Is the sensation worse after your shoulder workouts?

Try the broomstick stretch - it works wonders and may remedy your problem.

How are you positioned when you wake up? You may just be putting those select muscles in an awkward position.

Edit: Aw crap, Chimera beat me…

I sleep on my side, it may be related to my position, it make sense, because when I wake up in the night to have a piss, my arm is often numb.

I’ll try to sleep on my back, but I hate that.

try sleeping on two or more pillows so that your head is parallel to the bed and not angled down into it (or angled up). i have neck issues and have found that using the pillows to keep the head level through the night has worked wonders for reducing the pain i have in my neck.
