Does anyone know if the Rainbow Six Vegas game is available for Atari 600?

first time i’ve used this but:

“FTW”

Bought All-Pro Football 2K8 the other day, as Best Buy had it on sale for $39.99 (and I just happened to receive a $25 gift card the week before, so it really worked out nice). Game is great. There’s so many different ways to create your team, that I don’t know if I’ll ever get tired of it.

Also, thanks to a trade-in deal at Gamestop, I was able to bring back both Transformers DS games (beat both, no replay value) and picked up Madden 08 at no charge. For a DS sports game, it is very good. Yes the graphics are dated, but you have to know that the DS can’t put out PSP-level graphics. The gameplay is quite good and it’s perfect for gaming on the go.

I’ve heard good things in general about the console versions of Madden. I think the only negative seems to be the turnovers and the defensive A.I. might be too smart.

So for a quick fix when you’re on the run, Madden is a nice thing to have. Otherwise, you should buy it on the console. I wanted to get a PSP and Madden 08 for the PSP, but after playing it at Best Buy on the 360, and after reading the reviews on a couple of websites, I’m torn.

How’s the running game on the DS? the passing game? the AI?

Bioshock anyone? Pretty sick. Got some of the best reviews ever for a 360 game. A mix of a tactical shooter with some rpg-ish elements, with absolutely insane graphics and enemy AI. Very similar to Deus Ex, if anyones played that on xbox or PC. Takes a few to start exploiting the style of play that makes the game really shine. Not really a run n gun at all.

Im about 1/4 in, and finally starting to get some style points. Wouldve been nice to get a co op mode for the campaign, for me thats the future of MP gaming. Gears and R6 had the right idea. but overall Id say this is a must have. For most it will be too deep for a rental, especially if you want to enjoy it. anyway hook it up and holla back.

Fifa 07 was in my college dorm’s Xbox 360 all second semester. Such a great game to just pick up and play. I may have to buy Fight Night after some of these comments.

I rented Guitar Hero 80’s. It’s all right, I think I know about 6 of the songs on there, and only heard of half (I was born in 88). It’s still a good game (Glad I rented it though, as it’s basically GHII with 80’s colors), but it doesn’t pick up until the 3rd tier.

I’m learning how to play Police Truck on the real guitar, which is in the last tier. Think about that.

I got it the other day and it is impressive. I was going to get Two Worlds instead but they postponed their release date so I said fuckem, I need a game now, so Bioshock is what I will be playing for a while.

I think Bioshock will be a contender for game of the year but it’s going to have some serious competition with Halo3 etc…

The running game is good. Tosses and sweeps work best. The passing game works well. You can use the stylus to throw, but I prefer to just use the buttons. The receiver’s icon will change color from green (open) to yellow (somewhat open) to red (covered, good chance at INT or knockdown), which I think is a neat touch.

The A.I. is quite responsive. All of the games I’ve played have been close. You can also make slider adjustments to balance the gameplay.

The graphics are similar to the 99-01 PS1 versions of the game. Again, not great and definitely dated, but for the DS they’re just fine.

If you already have a DS and you like sports, then this is well worth the purchase.

There are a lot of good sports titles for the PSP, though. I just don’t have enough time on my hands to have that, a DS and a 360.

Kojima is out-doing himself:

Tell me that’s MGS4 is going to be on the XBOX 360. I’ve been holding out on a next gen console but all signs point to the XBOX over the PS3.

I hate that damn cutscene. It was good until I saw the bosses old man Snake would have to fight. Give me MGS3 and MGS any day.

P.S.

I’m sure it will be interesting to see how it will be possible to defeat bosses like that…maybe he’ll get help from “not so femine anymore” Raiden. Some of the old bosses from past MGS games will be back…proven by the cutscene with Raiden vs. Vamp. Rumor has it that these “Beauty and the Beast” bosses are either old female bosses/characters or re-incarnates of them.

I’m glad that the gameplay system is improved over past games…I think it will be the best of the series. I don’t even want to touch the XBox vs. PS3 crap…I’m just happy we even have the technology to produce killer games no matter what system.

I’m sure it will be at some point…but I figure not for a while considering history of Kojima and Sony…it was developed for Blu Ray…don’t know how that will play out for developing it for XBox 360. Its too early to tell anything with these consoles.

I just saw this on youtube and thought I would share, Its freakin hilarious. I never knew hitler was a gamer, lol

Interesting?? More like stupid. When Snake dies,so does the bad assness of MGS. He smoked, used guns, gruff, ruff, and tough. Fought believable enemies…even though somewhat out there. But THESE bosses are just too stupid for me. And Raiden’s drag queen ass is back. It’s like going from Charles Bronson to Orlando Bloom.

Fair enough I suppose…but when its all said and done…you’ll play it anyways. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Do you think Kojima revealed the only Bosses for this game. We all know how he always has tricks up his sleeve.

Well, I’m not buying a PS3 but I’ll find a way to play it.

Big Boss, did you ever play the MGS portable ops or MGS Acid?

Just downloaded warhawks onto PS3 and am way into it. Obvlivion is taking up all my free time. I literally must play this game. It is killing me.
