Wait so what does that make Kai? A bodybuilder or an artist? (mind bottling) lol
Mind-bottling mmm… Is that like when things are so crazy it gets your thoughts all trapped, like in a bottle?

“Aspiring” means to desire to achieve a higher level. He’s been painting the same way for over 15 years. He has no aspirations, other than to paint. He’s an artist.

“Aspiring artist” sounds so… noob-like. Art school students are aspiring artists.

Kai is a bodybuilder AND an artist.
I fingerpaint in my spare time. artist?
Are you as good as Kai?

No one said that to be a bodybuilder you had to make a living from bodybuilding. No one said you had to make it a career to be one. If you paint, you’re a painter, if you get on stage, you’re a bodybuilder.

You actually insulted the man and didn’t just “state an opinion”. The clear insult is what people took issue with…you know, if truth about the situation was the goal. Also, many back then, including Lee Haney openly spoke about politics in bodybuilding. That was an issue back then up until the 90’s. This isn’t even a secret.

“You would have to be extremely superficial to think something like that…and especially at an age when you really haven’t accomplished much yourself.”

Pot meet kettle.

The stage is only ONE aspect of bodybuilding. If you look at Vic Richards and DO NOT think he’s a bodybuilder, then you are clearly blind.

total bullshit. to be a convicted dogfucker, you need to be proven guilty by either the judge or a jury of your peers. having charges pressed against you and being testified against is not an automatic verdict of guilt, and therefore not a conviction. i think the term you are seeking is “alleged dogfucker”

I am laughing at the idea of seeing him walk down the street at his peak and hearing some skinny dude yell out he’s not a bodybuilder. Most people would see him that way…aside from dudes on the internet who apparently think the little guy in the pic above is more of a bodybuilder than someone like Vic.

Nik, you’re really making no sense. If you think ACCOMPLISHMENT only means what trophies are on your shelf, you’ve missed the point.

And did you just call Prof X BLACK?

lol

What? When did I ever say any such thing?

On one hand you can say he is “like Sergio Oliva” and it doesn’t mean you’re comparing them.

On the other hand I say he is scared to get on stage and that is an insult?

Some people are really sensitive.

Vic was definitely a bodybuilder.

you seem to know a lot about dogfucking … hmmm

If you showed someone any random person a picture of Vic and asked if he/she thought he was a bodybuilder, you’d some pretty stupid looks … aside from putting pictures in strangers’ faces.

Can’t we just use the terms ‘bodybuilder’ and ‘competitive bodybuilder’ as distinctions between people? then we don’t have to have a bullshit argument over semantics. #amidoingitright
