It’s the sign of a smart man…there is a reason John Meadows gets trained by Dave Tate.[/quote]

Objectivity is great, no doubt about it but he’s writing like he is absolutely tiny and has nothing to offer!

Lol thanks guys!

But honestly, I feel like we all learn from one another in threads like these. I like them.

But I must add it would be awesome to see a guy of his level get coached cause it would be no wear near as simple as coaching someone at mine.

Since dave tate and meadows was brought up would be awesome if this thread turning into that style of coaching, rather than coach and trainee have them both coach one another with lifting and diet in their own approaches.

Thanks man, appreciate it.

Trained back last night. Great pump, wiped out lol.

Definitely noticing the drop in calories though. Deadlifts lol…405 felt more like my usual reps of 505…ugh haha

Why are you dropping calories again?

I noticed a loss in fat before without even doing that first. Reducing the time in between rest for sets did that much in itself to start.

Just to get a little leaner for the summer, but primarily to have a leaner base to build from when I start putting the weight on again.

I haven’t made a significant drop in cals this time, not like back in February when I dropped like 20 lbs over 8 weeks.

OK. I am doing the same now but that is just so I stay in a certain range of body fat before I start dropping and going to training twice a day again.

I would limit “dropping calories” to just cleaning up carb intake for now. That is all I am doing.

Is that the one with the “run for the bus” sprint work and the “spend 2 hours waiting for cab service” active rest…and the “don’t know how I’m gonna keep my lights on” fatigue and the “they just repoed my car” stress work?

I’ve tried that actually.

Yep, that’s all I’m doing man. All I need honestly, metabolism is stupid high.

Question.

From that front pic I posted, what would you guys say I need to improve on the most. Be honest, I can take it lol!

Like for instance, abs. I know they’re not out all out yet. But should I try to make them bigger? I don’t really train them much directly. Lots of heavy deads, presses, bench, squats, etc.
