Very Frustrated with Injury

Basically today I suffered a mild muscle tear when I was doing the BB bench press. I have always trained casually but due to my university work I’ve had to stop training until last month.

Basically I was so negligent in that I didn’t carefully check the amount of weight I had put on the bar. I started lifting 57.5 kg when I was only meant to be lifting 47.5kg
So basically I was lifting reps and thinking why it was so damn heavy.

But then I dropped the weight and landed on my side, the bar fell to the side and I felt like a tore something. Went to A+E and the doctors said I had not broken any bones but they think I have a mild muscle tear on my shoulder.

So basically I am fucked. I don’t know what to do guys , I hate being injured and I just feel like hell.

I just feel like my chest is never going to be strong.

My skin is busted in half

Injuries

Whatever Esse

Um. It heals.

There’s this stuff, Voltaren Gel, prescription only. Rub it on the muscle where it’s sore, and it helps with the pain. Doc prescribed it for me when I tore some abdominal fascia.

Also… stop “training casually”. If you’re going to train, train. If you’re not, don’t.
