Wait…who shoveled?
I was trying to get you guys ready for your meal!
Is it snowing?
If it is, I’m sorry.
Thanks the anticipation for a steak was killing me. It stopped snowing today and the snowplow cleared our road so we could make it to the city.
Everything worked out, phew.
Yay!
Did you all do your measurements?
Yes I did, I’ll post them and new pictures up shortly.
My Dad did most of the shovelling but I went out and helped him after I got out of bed.

The tape only shows a little lost from my gut, but I feel like I lost more than that. My jeans fit better and I have to use the next belt loop. My chest got a bit smaller, I lost some fat in my “moobs” and my shoulders got a little bit bigger.
So I had a shake + HOT-ROX when I woke up around 10am. I had my HSM around 2pm; a 10oz steak, broccoli, half a sweet potato, and a small taste of chicken breast. I skipped my noon + 3pm shakes, but I did have my fish caps at 1pm and my HOT-ROX at 330pm. Next shake I’m having will be around 6pm with my other serving of Flameout. For my bedtime shake I’ll be taking out the PB but leaving in the flax.

I like the side-by-side comparison better.

Right side
looking good bro
Good job.
I don’t know about you, but I find that my tape measurement can vary depending on how tight I hold the tape. Also, I think one of the advantages of having multiple metrics - i.e. tape measurements, scale weight, and photos - is that you have several ways of seeing improvement. Basically, don’t worry about the waist measurement, you look like you lost weight.
Yah I wish the tape measure had a built in monitor that measured resitance being pulled from each direction so you could match it every time. Maybe the V-diet has led me to a profitable invention…or not.

I feel better and I think I look better, the side shots tell a better story than the scale and measurements do.
You should, I’ll buy your first one.
Day 8:
Everything per normal. Shakes at 8, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 1030pm.
Hit the gym:
Seated Calf Raises: 2sets 45lbs for 12reps. Next 3 sets 90lbs for 10reps.
Squat: 5sets of 135, 6 reps. (Dumb question: The bar is 45 right?)
Bench: 5sets of 105, 6reps.
Did some back exercises and a bit of dumbell work. Still waiting on an official workout plan from my trainer.
Thoughts:
I’m not sure if I gained water weight from yesterdays HSM or weight from the meal itself, but today I seem fatter than I was yesterday. I feel weird about that, and felt “guilty” all day long until I fell asleep yesterday because I actually ate solid food. I know it was perfectly fine and part of my diet, but for some reason my conscience made me a little upset by it.
On another note I got up early and full of energy. I notice I’ve been feeling more energetic throughout the day, but especially in the AM.
MY order of MD + everything else is still not in, Health Canada is still reviewing it.
Goodnight.

Its funny you mention that, because I went through the same thing. I also felt guilty after my HSM and a bit lethargic for half of the day. I looked at myself in the mirror the following morning and said to myself “Does this shirt make me look fat…? No, your FAT makes you look fat. Or maybe it was the HSM I had yesterday”
How’s it going, Nick?
Did the Metabolic Drive come?
What’s the scoop?
Who got stuck eating the orange cream?

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while.
My shipment is still stuck at Customs, it’s being “looked into”.
The orange cream isn’t so bad once in a while, I’ve kind of gotten used to it. It’s nice for a little variey.
My cousin decided she couldn’t do the V-Diet; she gave up completely and we couldn’t talk her into doing the light version. So I bought the HOT-ROX and some extra Metabolic Drive from her.
Workouts are going well. Actually everything is going well. I’m down 10lbs so far and I think I look great. What’s even better is I feel fantastic and am full of energy every day.
I’ll probably update this on sunday, with measurements. Oh also I’ve had to use the next loop on my belt, and will probably have to move down another before next week. I estimate I’ve lost 2-3 inches on my belly already.

Awesome, FedEx emailed me and said that my shipment is in. I haven’t opened it yet, hopefully they didn’t pull the HOT-ROX from it.
Taking a road trip for tonight and tomorrow, I’ll update again on sunday(aka Steakday!)
yay!
You must be so thrilled.
Diet on!
