I’m also still debating ordering a bottle of BCAA’s. Any of you pro’s have any recommendations?

Day 1 + 2 I did laps around the mall for 45min or so. Today I was up and down stairs from the basement of an apartment building to the third floor trying to get the phone lines working. I also walked on the treadmill for 12min at the gym until I got bored.
heehee you get bored in twelve mins?
How do you think you did? How do your knees feel? Why am I scared?
Consider the Goblet Squat:
that will help you get a good squat groove. Here’s a video:
Aieee! a burn, he felt, on the Smith machine!
Best. Passed. By.
I mean, as long as I’m the only person commenting, right? I can say what I really think?
Chin-ups and dips
bodyweight rows and push-ups
You’ll learn how to handle your own bodyweight and there’s no line.
Not sayin’ not use iron but you can get a great workout, especially being new to training, and you’ll have the satisfaction of mastery over your own body.
This was my second serious workout(First was 2 days ago) since I was probably about 17; so four years ago. I’m pretty sure I will be able to handle a lot more weight in my second week of workouts, right now I’m sort of experimenting and trying to see what weight I can do 5sets of 6reps with. I really am a rookie and not sure what type of workout is right for me or I should be following, so I just go to the gym and try to get a full body workout in doing as much as I can.
I also did some db bench presses on a flat bench, I stared my first set using 30lbs(10reps), switched to 35lbs for my next four sets(6reps ea set). I took a little water break/walk and when I came back I did one more set of 8 with 40lbs.
I felt reall good and sore after the workout and actually enjoyed the surge today and drank it with no problem. I found that letting it sit for a minute after I shake it up makes the foam dissolve and makes it a hell of a lot easier to drink.
Yeah, I’m not especially fond of Surge, not sure why it is.
Hey, you did real well posting. And describing your workout. I used to get lonely sometimes in my little thread. Hopefully some dude around here will help you out with a program. What about the Waterbury V-diet program that Tropicalshoes is doing? It’s just labeled “beginner”, not “girlz” or “gayz” or anything. There are three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. So you should probably follow her routine, since gustavopacho was advanced.
good jorb! You look like you got a future!
look, ^^^^^ it’s a bike-powered blender!^^^^^

Aha I’ll try to get a picture for you one of these days. If I park in someones stall and they come by while I’m using their outlet for my blender I’ll ask them to take a picture.

all kinds of blender possibilities

Haha thanks for your posts, I always look forward to reading them.
Today, Day 4: Shake Schedule
815
12pm
315
730
1000
Well I ran into a bit of a problem today. Since my sister ordered her supplies about a week before I did, I’ve just been sharing hers so we could start the diet. I contacted FedEx today asking where my shipment is and they said it was held up at customs; apparently Health Canada denied part of the shipment. The guy on the phone didn’t know what got rejected but said he would look into it and call me back tomorrow. I also left a message with Biotest to give me a call and let me know if any laws have been changed in Canada.
It’s really weird because my cousin and sister both ordered on the same day, my sister got her shipment in 2 days, and my cousins came in about 3 days later.
Oh well I’m sure we’ll figure out a way to keep going.
Workout day tomorrow, and I’m very much looking forward to it.
Goodnight.

we’ll figure out something…
Over halfway to our first meal/weigh in!!! I can’t wait for that bbq-ed steak you promised me. My fingers are crossed that we don’t get a blizzard sunday.

The sister!
That is so cool!
I hope the Metabolic Drive shows up. You contacted Biotest, oh, I hope they can do something to help.
How many days can you keep going on your rations?

I’m pretty hopeful that the Metabolic Drive will show up, my guess is that the Se7en or HOT-ROX got turned back. They said most of the shipment wil be coming through.
I think we can make it until about the middle of week three with what we have now.
Biotest has always quickly fixed the problems for myself and anyone who ever rarely has issues. I imagine you’ll get them well in advance of this.
Keep up the fight and as a person with a sister myself, you can’t let your sister beat you can you?

Haha of course I can’t and won’t let her.
I called and left a message with Biotest and they quickly called me back to discuss the situation.
Fedex and Health Canada also called me today, but nobody knows exactly which product was refused or if my package is just “under review”.
So what happened today?
Everybody compliant?
Hungry? Angry?
Tears-n-recriminations?
Anybody hoarding the powder?
Nothing exciting.
Shake schedule:
845am
12pm
Went to the gym around 3 and had my Surge afterwards, unfortunately I skipped this shake
430 - Took the HOT-ROX I was supposed to take at 3
715 Shake
1015pm Shake
I actually went to the gym twice today. The first time I found out my gym has free personal trainers and she’s going to create a mon-wed-fri workout I can follow. She seemed a little skeptical of the Velocity Diet when I explained it to her, but I’m pretty happy that I’m going to have a plan I can follow in the gym now.
Yes ma’am.
No anger and I definitely wasn’t hungy. I just used to eat a lot because I enjoyed eating, never because I was hungry. I’ve really been craving a sandwich the last couple of days.
None
Well Sam only likes the Vanilla, I enjoy all of the other flavours except Orange Cream so we’ll be ok.
Thanks for posting here consistently, I enjoy reading your responses and typing this up takes my mind off food and keeps me out of the kitchen where the rest of my family is usually eating/snacking on something.
I don’t work today (Saturday, Day6) so I’m hoping I will fare well sitting at home having my shakes. I might go out to the gym to walk on the treadmill just to get out of the house and away from food today.

Bwa-ha-ha! the dreaded orange cream!

Are they eating something like this–
A BARBECUED STEAK?
one for you and one for Sam?
maybe your primo is celebrating, too?
I hope the blizzard passed!

Thats cruel and unusual punishment
I was trying to get you guys ready for your meal!
Is it snowing?
If it is, I’m sorry.
Let’s think up something else good to eat…can’t have you microwaving a chicken breast for your first HSM!
